Chapter 1
A girl looked around in the dark tunnels. She can see that she is standing on top of a train track, but it seems too be a new track.
The girl smiled at herself, she knew where she was. She does live in Japan, It’s just she has beings from other worlds coming to her aid. She knew some history from the beings that come to her aid.
She walked back, ignoring the darkness in her wake. She got out her phone and looked towards a exit. She wondered if this was the exit that a little boy told her about. She looked at her phone. A music app was on, she wondered if she could blast some music. It can draw the shadows towards her. She knew she will get something out of it.
She took out a little book. The book didn’t look normal. Inside held sigils and name’s. She then ran back into the darkness. She blasted the music. She then put a finger over a sigil. The music had some lyrics, but it sounded really questionable to know what the lyrics even mean
" ′ Brain wave, main wave. Psycho got a high kick. Collect and select. Show me your best set. Crystal blisters It’s all over now. Psycho cane. You’re so keen. I need more candy canes’ ”
The shadows all looked at her. She walked past some since they were sleeping. She waited for for some to come and get in her face, but soon enough. Her wish was granted.
A couple of shadows growled at her. She took out a weapon that was behind her back. She took the weird looking weapon and pointed at the shadows. The music kept continuing as she fought the shadows.
" ’Morning rays, hairspray Queens. Get on their way to their nests, the west. Honest, they once had a dream. Belles of society, in the shells of their unity. Cornet ‘n spinet. The sound flows, follows till they’re home. Dragged by the power of dreams.’ ” The lady then did a final blow when the last lyric of the song played.
" ‘The power is yet unknown!’ ” The song finished. Stuff has came out of the shadow as the shadow disapeared. She went and looked at her book. Almost all of these unknown sigils were shining brightly. She wondered if her book can light up the way like a flash light.
She picked up the items and went deeper in. She wondered if there was anyone down here in the darkness. If there was, will they fly away like bats when they see a light shine close to them? Could this place be like a mountain? All darkness with no light?
She looked back at her phone. A other song could be heard from her phone. It wasn’t on full blast, so the volume was pretty low. She could hear the bass going through her hands.
" ‘Calling, you here the calling.’ ” She heard as the song played through her phone. She decided that she should head even deeper into Mementos, she wonders what else can be found in a place like this?
When she walked just a few more steps. She heard a motor of the vehicle. She panicked a little bit. She had to get too safety, but then she heard a other sound.
Chains. The rattling of so many chains. She could hear so many. She knew that hearing the chains wasn’t good news. She quickly opened the book. The sigils shined bright.
The vehicle that she heard came out of the shadows. Except, she hasn’t seen this type of vehicle before. It looked like a van, but it had eyes. Then she saw cat ears, and the van was talking?
“I told you Skull! We were down on that floor for too long!” Said the vehicle. The girl knew what this thing with chains was. It’s a big shadow monster that only appears when you’re down on a level up Mementos for too long. How long were they down there to awaken the monster?
“Crap. We won’t make it!” Said a girls voice. She wondered who the girl was. What did she mean that they won’t make it in time?
The girl sighed. She put a finger of the sigil and yelled out the sigils name.
“Odin 13th sigil!” Yelled the girl. A weird being appeared right before her eyes. This being held a weird looking weapon. It looked to have some parts of machinery. It’s head had two horns.
She knew that Odin and her alone wouldn’t be able to defeat the shadow. She heard the sound of a motor getting closer. What were they doing at a time like this?
She put her hand over a other sigil. The people in the van and herself had to have protection. The sigil shined brighter as she called out it’s name.
“Alexander 9th sigil!” She yelled. A big towering being appeared around the shadow, the van, and also around her.
She then heard the doors slam. She sighed, maybe its a good idea to bring out more beings? But she wondered if she would be able to hold that much power. She knows that she’s not at the stage of having all the beings on the field.
“Hey, looks like you need help.” Said a girl in red. She had a red mask covering her face. She then saw the lady getting out a whip.
“Watch out!” Said a other girl. She could see a orbital ship flying on top of her. She sighed.
‘Nella... What did you get yourself in to’? She asked herself. Nella saw that the Shadow was about to throw his chains. Nella put a finger on top of a different sigil.
“Shiva 10th sigil!” She yelled. A blue lady that has parts of ice came and made a ice wall. Nella knew that the wall wouldn’t hold for long.
“Shiva 10th sigil, disperse!” Nella yelled. The blue lady disappeared within a flash. She also left a bit of ice in the place that the figure was standing on.
“Persona!” Yelled a different girl. She wore a dark purple hat with a flower imbetted into the corner. Nella knew that these guys were heroes.
A guy with a fox like mask appeared. He held a big katana. Light was pouring from the weapon.
Three other men came at the scene. One was basically dressed in all black except parts of the mask were different colors. This man yelled out a name.
“Alice!” He yelled. A girl that looks like a dark version of Alice from the story books came onto the scene. Nella took a deep breath.
“Odin, do a crushing blow!” Yelled Nella. Odin and Alice went straight in. Nella knew that it won’t kill them instantly
A other girl with a motorcycle ran right beside Nella. The girl reved up the engine.
“Let’s do this!” The girl yelled. There was then little steps being made. She looked down and saw that it was a cat. She was a little taken aback.
“Zorro, show your might!” The cat yelled. A guy with a skull mask pointed at the shadow.
“Captain Kidd!” The guy yelled. She wondered if all of them could take out this shadow. She put her hand on a other sigil.
“Shiva and Nyx 13th Sigil!” Nella yelled. Two women came to her side. She snapped her fingers and the both figures shook their head. The two beings then looked at each other and changed into motorcycle. She hop on and revved the engine.
“Ice ramp!” She yelled. When she said that. She and the Shiva sisters. She thought that maybe just maybe. She can defeat the shadow. A other voice was heard. A man yelled out a name.
“Robin Hood!” Yelled the man. Her heart then stopped. Something from the beings in the book made her weary of the guy that just yelled out the name.
She shook her head, she could see what the beings mean after the battle. The cat walked up and yelled.
“All out attack!” Said the cat. Everyone shook their heads and ran and attacked. Nella put two fingers on all of the sigils and pointed at the enemy
After everyone did a all out attack. Everyone was heavy breathing. Nella looked at the shadow. The shadow seemed to be stepping away from the group
After when the big shadow disappeared. She put two fingers on a different sigil.
“Odin, Alexander, and Shiva and Nyx. Disperse.” She said. Usually she had to also say the sigil, but the beings still went back to their own world.
She turned around and saw everyone staring at her. She wondered what they were all thinking.
“That was awesome!” Said the guy with a skull mask. A girl with a panther mask smiled.
“Skull is right. Thank you for saving us.” Said the girl with the panther mask. A girl with a hat with a flower shook her head.
“We couldn’t let you do all of the work. It would be wrong.” Said the girl with a flower. A girl with a motorcycle hoped off.
“Yeah, besides. Who are you?” The girl asked. Nella looked at the group. She can’t tell who she was, even if she did. They’ll think she would be lying. Plus she felt that there was a traitor among the ranks. She didn’t want to be in the crossfire.
“The name is Crystal.” Nella said. Since Nella had a hunch that all of them had code names. Nella picked one for herself.
“Crystal, what kind of power was that?” A cat said. Nella shook her head.
“You don’t want to know, besides. It’s time for me to go. The reaper is gone, just be careful.” Said Nella. Everyone slightly frowned. Nella knew that they were just being curious.
“Seems like we have different goals. We won’t bother you.” Said a guy wearing all black. Nella shook her head slightly, she knew that he was probably the leader.
“Okay? Bye now.” Nella said. She didn’t look back. The guy was right. She had a goal, and the goal is still far away. She can still pretend that she was in a dark tunnel with the end of the tunnel showing some light. The light will grow bigger and bigger each day.
She ran through the Mementos and now she was at the entrance. She had a couple of yellow flowers in her hand. She usually will go back and give them to a certain little boy, but she may run into the group again. She didn’t want that to happen.
Nella took out her phone and pushed a button on the Metaverse Navigator. The robotic voice talked through her phone.
“Now transporting you to the real world.”
Everything around her started looking really weird. She knew that the place was changing back to the real world. Nella closed her eyes.
A memory of the past formed in her mind. She remembered of her life in a other world, well the one she was born in. She remembered living basically in a Utopia in the sky. She knew that more than one miracle took place that day, but there was also a sacrifice.
Nella opened her eyes, she was now greeted by a bustling subway place of where people go to their respective place. All of them had their own thing to do. Nella looked at her book.
“I need to do what I must do. Nothing will get in the way.” Said Nella to herself. As she walked through the hoards of people. The Phantom Thieves came back from the Metaverse.
