I woke up to the sound of my annoying alarm and stretch my body.the sound of my bone cracking makes my muscles feels better.I slowly walked to the bathroom and take a quick shower.
After getting ready,I walk out just to find the house were in a mess.Papers and pens were everywhere on the floor.I bend to look at the name on the paper.Jung Hyemi.This brat..how dare she -!!
"Jung Hyemi!!"I shouted but there's no respond.I yelled her name once again.I accidentally wake my maknae who was supposed to be sleeping at this hour.
"Noona,what's with the noise.Im trying to sleep."Jihun complained.I crouched at his level and pats his head.
"Aniya.its nothing, go back to sleep.Sorry for waking you up."Jihun walks to his bedroom.
'Eomma and Appa is not home and maybe thats why she dared to make a mess in this beautiful living room'.I monologue
I calmed myself and cleaned the mess she made while cussing Hyemi for making me cleaned her mess early in the morning.Soon,my brother walked out complete in his uniform and took a seat , ready to eat breakfast.I didnt prepare much this morning because im just lazy from last night.
I walked back to my share bedroom with Hyemi and shake her body roughly to wake her up.She's a heavy sleeper so it takes some time to make her.
"Ireona.Achim-iya."I said..she still hadnt move.I rolled my eyes when she purposely balled herself and hid under the blanket.
"Whatever,I'll just go to school without waiting for you."
"Oppa,can you wait a bit because the housekeeper is a little bit late today and Jihun will be alone.So,can you do me a favour?"
"Why didnt you do it?"he replied.
"I cant.its my turn today for class duty.sorry."I walked out and bid goodbye to him.Actually,we only started talking this year so its kinda awkward for me to have a usual conversation with him.Not that he went abroad or something but he was in boarding school so we rarely see each other.But this year he decided to quit the school and choose to go to the same school with me and Hyemi.
As I reached the bus stop,my friend Sunmi is already waiting while fiddling her phone.I ran to her and tap her shoulder marking I was already there.
"Hey."she nods.I took a seat beside her .while she plays with her a phone ,I took this chance to admire the beautiful neighbourhood of ours and breathe in the fresh morning air.
"Have you finish your homework?"she asked me whilst looking at her phone.
"Yup."
"Including page 10?"I nod.
"Good,cause I only did until page 7.So,lend me your book while you do the duty."she said.She is always like this.Effortless.
Everytime she feels lazy or tired she will leave her work and plays with her phone or might just talking on the phone with her boyfriend.And her boyfriend change every month or week.
I dont why but I dont hate it when she borrows my homework or when she uses me for her own good.Maybe its because I love her too much as bestfriend.Other people might think she's spoil brat but for me she's the best friend ever.
While cleaning and arranging the tables.I took a glance at the clock hanging against the wall.It's almost eight.I better hurry.
Soon,the bell rang and I finished cleaning the whole class.It was supposed to be me and Soo Ah but she 's absensce.So,I have to do it alone.
The homeroom teacher walks in to take the attendance and soon our first lesson start.Its funny when on the first day of school I didnt have the thought to sit with my bestfriend.Instead I chose to sit with someone who is not my friend and someone who I will never talk to which is boy.I will never talk to boys unless they talk to me first.Its my way to focus on my study but duhh im not the smart ass in the class either but my grades are good enough to enter any university with the course I want.
It' s break time and I ask Sunmi to wait for me in the canteen while I go to the toilet.While I was on my way to the canteen.Someone bump me and his books falls.I gasp and help him picked all the books.It's quite many for a person to carry.
"Here,let me help."I told him and carry half of the books.
"Thanks but no need actually."he blurted out.
"No,it's okay I want to help because it looks quite heavy."
"Ermm..where do you need to bring this book to?"I continued.
"Ohh..to the library."he replied,smiling.
We walked to the library and I placed the book on the counter.
"Thanks for your help err.."
"Jihyun."
"Jihyun,I shouldnt let a girl like you to help me carry such a haevy loads of book."he explained rubbing the back of his neck.
"It's okay.It is rude for me to leave you like that..So,I better go now .."
"Inseong."
"Inseong.see you when I see you."with that I walked out from the library and head straight to the canteen where Sunmi is waiting for me.
She was eating sandwhich and french fries with her favourite coke.I took a place in front of her and watched her eat.
"Where did you go?what took you so long?"she asked with her mouth full with sandwhich.
"I helped someone just now."she nodded.Not asking more.
"Hey,I need to buy refrence book today.Can you come with me bacause I dont know which book should I buy."She said after finishing all her food
"Sure"i replied shortly.
"Aren't you eating.you have a gastric .Why aren't you eating?"she asked worriedly.
"I'll eat later.Im too lazy to eat."I sighed.
"Something's wrong?"she asked.concerned.
"Nothing.Just a little bit tired."I lied.Actually,my parents were not on bussiness trip.There's something else going on between them and they dont know I know about this.It's has always been like this since Jihun was born.I didnt blame Jihun on this but all those problem appears a year after he was born. Im not being secretive with my own bestfriend but Im just not the type to talk about my problem and not the type to start a conversation.
"You're being mysterious again.Come on tell me."she coaxed.
"Nothing.I just mentally tired from all the never ending homeworks."I convinced and fake smile.
While waiting for Sunmi to choose which refrence book to buy,I walked to other shelves to see if is there's any new novels to my liking.I heard Sunmi calls my name and walked to her.She showed my two refrence book but from different author.I took the books from her and scanned both of them perfectly.
"This one.Its easy to understand and its summary is better than this one.."I explained.she nodded and we walked to the counter.We were waiting for the guy in front of us to pay.He took longer than he should so I took a step closer.
"Where is it.Shit..please dont do this to me."he mutters.searching from each of his pocket.the cashier was waiting patiently for this guy to pay.
"I can help you with that."I said without hesitation."how much is it?"I asked the cashier.
"8,000 won"said the cashier.I took out 3,000 won and handed it to the cashier since he's short of 3,000 won.
He nodded awkwardly towards me and thanking me.I look up to his face and I realised that he have a good features and the type that every woman would like.
I took a longer time than I should. I think I was staring at his face and thank God of how good he madw this man. The guy then left and it' s our turn to pay and Sunmi pays for her book and we walked out of the bookstore .
As we reached outside the bookstore,the guy before was standing beside the entrance.Probably waiting for me.
"Ermm....hye..thanks for paying for my book.I'll pay you back."he said.
"No,it's okay.I just want to help."Not that we will meet again anyway..I thought to myself.
"Okay.by the way,Im Taehyung and you are?"
"Jihyun and this is my friend Sunmi."I introduced Sunmi.And soon,he had his eyes fixed to Sunmi.Of course.What did I expect from boys magnet.Every boys that saw her would always falls for her immediately.
We excuse ourself and walks away from him.we talked and laughed while walking."hey,Im not going to school tomorrow."Sunmi blurted out.I stopped on my tracks and look at her.
"Why?"
"I have an appointment with a doctor tomorrow."i nodded.she told me about her health condition that she doesnt feel good lately.
"Okay.tell me if anything tomorrow after your check up."we parted away because our house were not at the same neighbourhood.
