What the f*$* did I just read?🥺
"Honestly, I dont know where to begin. This book has no continuity, crafted timeline, and no character development. It goes from her being kidnapped day one to a few paragraphs later proclaiming it had been months. Which wouldnt be so odd if toward the end of the book it didnt randomly proclaim that she had been missing for 4 years. Had the story talked of this little vampire island being in a time warp that would maybe make sense, but alas it doesnt. You know nothing of the main character except she goes out with coworkers for drink and is kidnapped by vampires, shes bit and raped and impregnated, loses the baby and gets a soul mate escapes the island and get pregnant again. The author has literally written her as a submissive vessel for Semen and babies. The other main characters pop out of nowhere with little or no introduction. Like what is the island? Who was the elder? Why was she special when there was a room where other pregnant girls just like her on the island? Whats the significance of R having 'chosen' her? Who is R? Whats his story? Why does he have a 'crew' of sorts? What happened to Selena? What was the significance of the elder finding out The main character was still alive and pregnant? What happened to the guard that raped her? There are so many questions. I could just go on. I love a good Vampire story but this is NOT a good vampire story. This is an hour and 15min that I just won't get back. Just a nope."
