Chapter 1: Where we left off
As lucifer stood looking down amongst the angels he noticed things were changing. He could hear everything that everyone on the planet was thinking and doing but all that could cross his mind was Chloe.
He gave orders to the angels and once everyone was gone he turned to face Chloe who was looking pale and shivering. He could tell what was going to happen next and he rushed to her side just as she collapsed into his arms. “Detective are you alright?” Lucifer asked nervously. He didn’t get a reply but instead she buried her head into his chest and stared sobbing. He held her close stroking her hair the way she liked it letting her know he was there. She looked up at him tears falling down her cheeks unable to catch her breath and he simply lightly kissed her forehead before getting his wings out and taking her home.
