I thought about Dan’s video yesterday and had wanted to make this one shot. I know pride is coming up and I had to check out his video again. I know that when I first saw it, I was crying by the end of it. It still got me the first few times I watched through it. However, yesterday, I thought about the after mass and what Dan might have gone through afterwards. He completely told his story and I respect the dude for it. Please let me know what you think, as I am new to this. Thank you again for checking out my Phanfic.

“So there we go. Now I can proceed authentically in my life with full disclosure. Cute mutuals know to slide into the DMs. And you can all fuck off and leave me alone.” Dan joked with his audience as he was just about to rap up his video.
"Bye"
With a salute he had smiled to the camera one last time before ending his video.
Taking a pause. He thought about everything that he had poured out to his audience. 'Well this could go one of two ways.... people could hate it or they could love it' Was his rational thoughts. Getting up from his sitting position at his desk he needed to clear his head about this.
However, he could walk away with the fact that he had opened himself up to his audience. It just wouldn't have been right to tell to his fans that had been there from the very beginning about his sexuality. But he did worry about how they would take it. Would there be big news headlines regarding his video tomorrow morning.
Sighing softly he stalked towards his kitchen to grab a glass of water to clear his head. From the living room he could hear Phil playing Yoshi's Woolly World for the umpteenth time in a row. He decided he needed to talk to his best mate and had decided to take a seat on their grey couch while Phil continued to play on having his green yarn Yoshi walk across the screen to collect eggs.
"Hey Dan, did you finish up filming?" His friend had asked slightly awakening him from his thoughts.
"Oh yeah, yeah it's done." Answering as he nervously tapped his fingers against his dark trousers.
The young raven haired male by his side had paused his game knowing that his friend needed someone to talk to.
"Hey you don't have to do that. You can continue to play your game" Attempting to reassure his friend that everything was alright. However, his voice had seemed to waiver as he had felt tears of worry and dread slide down his cheeks.
"Come here" Phil urged him as he opened his arms to consume the younger man in a warm embrace.
"Phil... I'm worried. I'm so worried about how this will go" The brunette had confessed.
Fear. That was a feeling he hadn't felt in a long time. He was always so sure of himself, but this time was just so different.
Phil had been surprised he hadn't seen this side within his friend for a while. Shushing him softly he brought him closely as he continued to hold him.
"What's currently going on in that head of yours?"
Giving the brunette a moment to recollect himself, he continues to shush him softly.
"Honestly... just so much stress about what's to come and my hometown seeing all of this shit" Sniffling out a response as Phil continued to hold him comfortingly.
"Well you know you don't have to face it alone. I'll be here with you every step of the way" Phil had promised knowing that he'll continue to keep that promise to Dan until the end of time.
"Ya know. I'm really proud of you for coming out" He confessed to his friend as Dan had smiled continuing to sniffle.
"Thanks Phil" The brunette had thanked his best friend. Maybe. Just maybe everything would turn out alright.
He knew as long as Phil was by his side, they could take on anything together.
