Effective as an exercise, but a little underdeveloped
"The author has a very strong command of the tactile sensations of fear that a lot of horror writers don't do as well. We get the sting of sweat, the strain of fear and fatigue, and the tension of danger really well. There's a lot of great stuff in this piece that I think can be expanded upon. The story starts off too slowly. We should be a lot closer to the inciting incident, and we never get a really clear picture of who Jane is. She's simply Prey and the rest of the story is her reacting to a Predator. THere's a nice story here and I'd like to see another draft where she has a bit more personality and with a tighter overall focus."
Creepy tale
"This is an enjoyable creepy tale. The characters were sketched rather than fully developed which suited the shortness of the story. The man who cannot move when being watched reminded me of the Weeping Angels from Doctor Who."
horror face
"HORROR HAS A NEW NAME AND THAT MANS NAME IS MIKE O FLAHERTY. I STARTED EATING SOME CORNFLAKES WHEN I CAME TO READ THIS STORY AND NEEDLESS TO SAY BY THE TIME I HAD FINISHED READING THE STORY THERE WERE CORNFLAKES ALL OVER THE COMPUTER SCREEN AND MY NAKED STOMACH WHICH SPEAKS VOLUMES FOR THE CHILLING NATURE OF STILL OF THE NIGHT"
