Naïve & optimistic
is what I am
but don’t think me
blind or in denial
Cuts & bruises
and scars I carry too
Tears, cries heartache,
I’m acquainted to it all
Naïve & optimistic
because I believe
in the power of love
and the strength of a smile
Dreams & hops
pave my way
as I loose myself in what I love
to find myself again
