Possessive
[DISCLAIMER: Please do not see this as romantic. What Stroheim is doing is clearly possessive and very wrong. I will be writing some more stories where Stroheim isn't like this, but I will say this now:
DO NOT, and I mean DO NOT be like Stroheim in this story. If you have an unhealthy obsession with your significant other, then you should seek help. It is not good to have such an unhealthy obsession with someone, especially with your lover. That relationship is extremely bad, and could possibly (if it hasn't already) turn that relationship abusive.
This will contain a tiny bit of triggering topics, such as the...bad Germans (I think you know who I'm talking about).
Anyway, with that being said and done, enjoy.]
Knock knock knock
What kind of crazy lunatic would come over at this hour?
A certain brunette thought, looking over at the clock.
1:34 AM.
He sighed, looking over at his blonde-haired wife. She was asleep, how cute. He tried to be as quiet as he could as he opened the door. There stood a certain person that he knew very well, with his blonde hair moving with the wind.
"Uncle? What are you doing here? And at this time as well?"
"Well, it's quite complicated."
"Aren't you supposed to be with Stroheim or something?"
"...That's the reason I came."
What does he mean by that?
Joseph sighed, and let his uncle in. It wasnโt rare to see him come over now and then. At least, not so late at night.
"Uncle. Explanation, now."
"Hold your horses, god dammit. I still need to think things through."
Though the blonde-haired man held a stoic face, in his eyes there was an emotion he hasnโt felt in quite a while.
Fear. Paranoia. Absolutely terrified.
Joseph decided not to rush. For if you saw those emotions in Speedwagonโs eyes, you know something was up.
Something was wrong.
"...I'll wait. In the meantime, do you want water? Tea?"
"Tea, is preferred."
Joseph nodded, walking into the kitchen and started the process of making tea.
His uncle sat in the rocking chair, his usual place. Though, he had his head in his hands, exhaling deeply.
When was the last time he saw Robert like this? Oh, right. The same thing happened, he ran away from Stroheim, except he hurt Stroheim in the process.
But thatโs a story for another time.
Though, how did he get all the way from Germany to here in America? Wouldn't he have to take multiple planes? Then he remembered, he could easily call the foundation and they would take him there.
Sometimes Joseph forgets important things, no wonder Caesar called him a dumbass back then.
Back on topic, was something going on between Robert and Stroheim?
Verbal abuse?
Mental?
Physical?
Or god forbid, sexual?
Possessiveness maybe? He knew how overprotective Stroheim would get.
Joseph's mind was lost in thought as he finished making tea, handing his uncle a cup.
"Thank you, Joseph."
"It's no problem. Are you ready to talk about it or do you need more time?"
Robert sighed.
"I'm about ready."
"Alright, let me do something real quick."
Joseph then picked up Suzi in bridal style, moving her to the bedroom so she can sleep peacefully in there. Who knows what could've happened to his uncle, he wouldn't want her to hear.
It could be something beyond her belief.
"Alright, let's hear it."
"Well...it does have something to do with Stroheim. To put it in simple words.."
Joseph waited patiently, he could see and practically feel how much Robert was paranoid and practically...traumatized.
"Wherever I go, he will find me. He always will..."
"But, he hasn't found you now?"
"Joseph, common sense. Of course he hasn't found me yet. This isn't the first time I've ran away from him. He always told me, 'No matter where you go, I will always be right behind you.' Jesus fucking Christ, he even told me that he would convince the Fuhrer to invade everything in their path just to find me."
Oh no.
"โฆWhere is he gonna start?"
"That's unknown. But I know he'll start with Germany, making his way to The Netherlands, soon making his way to my home country, England."
"And...how far is America from England?"
"Depends on what transportation you take. They'll most likely take a plane, so about 9 hours."
Oh shit.
"Knowing how desperate Stroheim is, I don't have much ti-"
Ring ring ring
Ring ring ring
Ring ring ring
The sound of the phone interrupted Speedwagon's explanation, and they both hesitantly looked over at the phone.
After a few seconds, the ringing stopped.
But then it started up again.
"Joseph."
"Huh?"
"Do not answer the phone."
"Is it him?"
A nod was sent Joseph's way.
"I might have to answer."
"Joseph you are out of your god damn mind."
"Ah ah ah! You know me, Uncle. I'm an excellent liar."
"Joseph, you are absolute shit at lying."
"Come on, trust me on this, Robert!"
Silence. Patience. Waiting.
Robert sighed, placing his cup of tea down on the table and crossing his arms, giving a very intense stare at Joseph.
"Jojo. This better not go bad. Or else."
"What? Worst case scenario he comes to America, but then you'll be gone by now! From America he doesn't know where you go, right?"
Since when did Joseph make good points?
"I guess that is true. But he will search all the corners of the world, and practically most of the world is gonna be invaded if he goes along with the whole convincing the Fuhrer."
"It'll be alright, I'm sure he's not that insane."
"Then you haven't seen enough of the REAL Stroheim."
The phone kept ringing, and Joseph finally picked up.
"Hello?"
"Joseph Joestar."
The voice. The tone. It was threatening, condescending. It was the voice of...
"Stroheim! How are you doing?"
"Hm. I've been doing okay. Let me get straight to the point."
There was a moment of silence.
"Tell me, where is Speedwagon?" Every word in that question was covered in a coat of threat and toxicity.
"How should I know? I thought he was with you!"
"He ran away again. I tried asking Jonathan and William but they said they haven't seen him. Perhaps he's with you?"
"What? No, of course not! You know I support your guys' relationship, I wouldn't want to help him run away."
There was another moment of silence.
"JoJo?"
"Yeah, Stroheim?"
"I don't know if anyone has told you, but you're shit at lying. I'll be there."
And then the phone hung up. Joseph looked over at Robert, that stare turned into a glare.
"God dammit, Joseph."
"Hey! At least it'll take 9 hours, yeah? He sounded like he was in England, so you have plenty of ti-"
Ring ring ring
The phone started ringing again, Joseph picked up.
"Hello?"
"Since I know Speedwagon is there, tell him this: England has been invaded. I hope you have a plan, Robert, I'm coming for you, and you will be back where you belong. Right back into my arms~"
And with that, the phone hung up again.
Robert was doomed.
So, so doomed.
"Joseph. I can't stay here for long. Stroheim is going to be here soon."
"But 9 hours is pretty long-"
"Knowing Stroheim and the German army, they're going to find a way to get here quickly. Stroheim knows where you live too, Joseph."
Joseph sighed, "I'm aware. Where will you head next?"
"I don't know, that's what I'm going to try and figure out."
"Well, you're going to have to go far from here. I recommend going to Canada, and once Stroheim gets to that area, get to Iceland, maybe. I'm not that good with geography, as you can tell.."
"I thought Erina taught you?"
"Ah well, I wasn't really paying attention."
"As to be expected of you, JoJo. But that doesn't sound too bad. Thank you, Joseph."
"It's no problem, Uncle. As long as you be careful and are safe."
"I'll be okay, don't worry. I'll call you if anything goes downhill."
"Alright...stay safe out there, Uncle."
"Don't worry, I will. Take care of Suzi and Holly, okay?"
"I will, and always will."
Another nod was sent Joseph's way, and with that, Speedwagon left.
Most likely going to call the Foundation to get to Canada, but Joseph just prayed and prayed on his life that Robert will be okay.
Uncle...whatever you do. Do not let Stroheim get you, please. His obsession is unhealthy, but please, please be careful..
-Meanwhile, in England-
"The flight to America from England, Colonel, is going to be about 9 hours. Will we need faster transportation?"
Stroheim thought about it.
"No. That's okay. Let my little Speedwagon think he's safe from me. Although, he could be leaving America soon...no matter. He'll soon be back here."
"Forgive me for asking this question, Colonel Von Stroheim, but are you sure this is the right decision? He could just be overwhelmed and-"
Soon enough, the soldier was held up in the air by his neck collar. The holder none other than Stroheim.
"Dear soldier, you should know this isn't the only time my beloved Speedwagon has ran away from me. He's just stubborn, yes that's it. Stubborn is all. We're meant to be together, he belongs to me and only me, and I will bring him back no matter what the cost is. If you say anything like that again, consider yourself to be executed."
The soldier nodded rapidly, to which Stroheim let go of the poor, unfortunate soldier.
"Let everyone know we will be leaving soon. I am not a patient man, and I want to find Speedwagon sooner than later."
"Y-Yes, Colonel."
With that, the soldier left to fulfill Stroheim's request.
Mark my words, Speedwagon. You will never, ever be out of my grasp. I will hunt you down, and I will find you. Once you're back in my grasp, I will make sure you never, EVER escape from me.
What do you know, I wrote stuff.
I plan to write some more Strowagon stories, some will be Stroheim being obsessive, some will just be down right fluff. I have many ideas and AUs for this ship, and even though some may judge me for this ship, it's alright, I could care less. But overall, I think that this is a pretty cute ship, just if written the right way I guess. Strowagon is actually one of my comfort ships, and it'll most likely be the ship I write most stories/oneshots for.
But don't worry, I'll write stories featuring other ships too. I'm just saying that most of my stories is going to be about Strowagon, but some of my future Strowagon stories will contain some other ships, such as Joseph x Caesar, etc.
And not only that, I ship Speedwagon with other characters too, like Jonathan, William, etc. So maybe be on the lookout for those kind of stories too. To put it in simple words though, I ship Allwagon. What is Allwagon? Speedwagonโs reverse harem. Basically shipping most characters with Speedwagon (as long as theyโre not kids or animals), and for an example of that, itโs things like Strowagon, Jonawagon, Zeppwagon, maybe even Karswagon? And yes, all those ships I named, I do ship with Speedy.
Now Iโm thinking about writing a story with the ship Karswagonheim. Also, a side note here, every character I write a ship story with Speedwagon, please do note that itโs Youngwagon, not Oldwagon. Look, I know Stroheim encountered Speedwagon when he was old, but Iโm pretty sure we can all agree being 8 years apart is more reasonable. (Speedy being 25, Stroheim probably being around 33) And besides, theyโre both in the same age group, they can consent and make their own decisions.
Anyway, thatโs all I have to say, but I will be posting more stories soon, and since Iโm new to Inkitt, Iโm gonna try and start to get the hang of things.
