You have to forgive me for it Sir John because it's your own fault. I get speechless after reading your story., you see, so I put off my review for another day. Of course, I am still in awe of your power of description, and also your obvious knowledge of animals. At times I could not control my laughter,, especially at the conversations between Mrs Read and her daughter Elizabeth, absolutely hilarious! Once again, I can only applaud you for your writing skill, not only in this delightful story but in everything! I look forward to the next story with eagerness.."

"Don't let the first few chapters of this book fool you. He got off to a rocky start writing it, in my honest opinion. I have been trying to read this book for a month. I kept falling asleep or getting distracted. But once they started talking, oh my gosh, I feel ever so deeply in love with Harriet and James!! I wanted to beat up society in Harriet's behalf, and squeeze James cheeks for being the man she needed him to be. I couldn't put it down andzzz's that's always a phenomenal thing! I would give this 10 stars if i could...... and I shall⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩"

"plot is not that great. The writer coukd have done better with the plot. Again there is the issue of the writer's style. whether being subjectuve ir objective It quite confusing to the reader if at one moment I am reading from one character s point of view and another moment it has changed without proper syncing. "
