Chapter 1 “Private Caller”

[A Friday night in July Vinny and his boys Russo and Taz are doing a drug deal in the ally behind “Vinci’s pizzeria”. Their dealing to 4 Italian men in black suits.]
(Vinny)- Tell Toni this is the last delivery for him without pay, we can’t keep doing business together the bills are piling up .
(Man 1)- Boss isn’t gonna like that.
(Russo)- Well too damn bad.
(Vinny)- Tell him and he’ll understand I’m sure Grazie ragazzi.
(Man 1)- Stay safe Vincenzo.
[The 4 men take the coke and walk back to their black suv before they left they told Vinny “Tell that daughter of yours I said happy birthday”. Vinny takes a deep breath and says to his boys “Alright let’s go home.”]
{Danielle “Daddy’s Little Girl”}
[Danielle may be the youngest of Vinny’s daughters that doesn’t make her any less of threat. Dani is doing a drug deal in the bathroom of a fancy restaurant down town. She walks in the bathroom signaling the buyer who was a man, They both get in the bathroom.]
(Dani)- You got my money?
(Man)- I got to test the product first. *walks behind Dani and rubs her shoulders*
(Dani)- *scuffs* *puts her finger in the coke and puts it in the mans mouth* have a taste then.
(Man)- *sucks on her finger* mmhmm I like that, *gropes her* but I like you more. *he started licking her neck*
(Dani)- *pushes away* I’m not for sale.
(Man)- Dont fight this baby girl.
[The man reached for her hair but before he could grab her, Dani grabs his arm and twisted it backwards until she heard a snap. She leaves the man screaming bloody murder in the bathroom then says “ Call me Dani”]
{Dalila “Money Honey”}
[Dalila is at her parents house with her Mother Dioza But everyone calls her Mama Dee. Dalila is counting the money from the Pizzeria.]
(Dioza)- It was a slow day today so payout might be low.
(Dalila)- Yeah it’s lower then yesterday, before we know it we’re gonna be begging for rent.
(Dioza)- No Lila don’t speak like that.
(Dalila)- I’m just being logical Madre, and it’s looking bad.
(Dioza)- We will be fine, Your papa is working on it.
(Dalila)- Padre is working for free-
(Dioza)- LILA!
(Dalila)- Sorry Mama.
(Dioza)- Come help me with the cake for your sister.
[Dani and Vinny make their way to their house, to set up before Dani sister and Vinny’s daughter Denali’s surprise birthday party.]
(Vinny)- Dani how was it?
(Dani)- *shows her bloody heel* as good as any other day.
(Vinny)- your okay?
(Dani)- yeah I’m fine he’s the one with a hole in his arm is he okay? *both laugh*
(Vinny)- That’s my girl *kisses her forehead*
[Vinny and Danielle gives money to Dalila for her to count.]
(Dioza)- Hey baby *kisses Vinny* how was work?
(Vinny)- good good. *hugs Dalila*
(Dioza)- what did he say about you quitting the group?
(Vinny)- it’s good honey don’t worry about it, where are my boys?
(Dalila)- They’re up stairs BOYS!
*The boys come stumping down the staircase*
(Vincent)- Ehi papà *hugs Vinny*
(Vinny)- VinVin and Vladdy y’all staying out of trouble?
(Vincent)- Yeah I am but Vlad got into a fight at school.
(Vlad)- Stai zitto ragazzo stupido {Shut up stupid boy}
(Dioza)- Vladdy are you serious?
(Vlad)- He was a bully, and deserves it.
*Dioza walks to Vlad and thumps him in the head.*
(Vinny)- well did you win at least? *all but Dioza laugh*
[The family hears a knock on the door]
(Dani)- *whipers* It’s Denali
[The family all turn out the light and hide. Denali walks in the door to everyone screaming “SURPRISE”, Denali was startled by the jump scare.]
(Vinny)- Happy 17th Birthday baby girl!
(Denali)- Thank you papa
[The Vinci family celebrate Denali’s birthday for a while. Then Vinny pulled Denali into his office to talk.]
(Vinny)- I’m not going to keep you long so I’ll get to the point— You know about our family business-
(Denali)- The Pizzeria yeah of course
(Vinny)- No not that, but you will know what I’m talking about in time your sisters will let you know.
(Denali)- Get to the point papa-
(Vinny)- ok ok, well im gonna be training you to be a boss, a leader of the pack when I’m gone.
(Denali)- Huh- wait first of all where are you going?
(Vinny)- to hell if I dont do better.
(Denali)- And Papa I’m literally the middlest of my sisters so why me?
(Vinny)- Because Dalila is too smart and good with numbers or the paper part of the business, And Dani is a fighter and too hot heated to lead, they can’t do what you can do.
(Denali)- are you still not gonna tell me what the business is?
(Vinny)- nope- *Dioza knocks and comes in*
(Dioza)- Honey the boys are waiting for you to read them to sleep.
(Vinny)- I’ll be there *stands and kisses Denalis forehead* goodnight baby girl.
[Denali gets up from the chair and goes out of the room into her own room to sleep.]
[A hour later]
[Vinny is up going through his closet searching for something,When he got a call from a private caller.]
(Vinny)- *answers* ciao
(Private Caller)- Vincenzo De Vinci
(Vinny)- I don’t know who that is.
(Private Caller)- This isn’t you Vincenzo wearing blue and white pajamas pants in your walk in closet?
[Vinny looks down at his blue and white pajama pants, standing in his closet and hangs up the phone.]
