Underwhelmed
"I tried enjoying it, I really did, but it is just not my thing. It truly annoyed me whenever a character (such as Miliano or Aleida) would start having to explain everything that is going on and then explain why those things are going on, all of that could have been written in as part of the story, instead I felt like something was forgotten and then written in later from a "by the way this is why that happened" point of view. I really didn't care for how fast everything happened, I understand it was explained that werewolves grow fast, but to have 5 kids in under a year and 2 are walking/talking in that time frame as well, it is just too unbelievable for me. Also, I'm probably seriously nit picking, but this is a werewolf book, wolves have packs, they don't have "flocks". All that being said, I did enjoy most of the characters, I just wish the story was put together differently. I do think the author is a very good writer, they just need to put everything together in a more sensible way and make the timeline work better."
