Silverdapple struggles awake, the darkness of her dream scaring the poor warrior. She stares in horror, as fire streaks in a thin line in her dream, and dark shapes wave around behind as she sleeps. The shadows leap over the flames, jumping at her... And then she wakes up.
Silverdapple shivers in the sunlight, relieved to wake up at Fourtrees, the only place she feels safe. Back in her clan, her friends and clanmates are being held hostage, by vicious rouges angry at her clanmates for... something. She couldn't go back now, because she too would be held prisoner.
Fighting her way out of the bushes, she gazes around in the bright sunlight of that morning. She was honestly glad she didn't have to wake up early and catch prey or patrol in her clan, but she did miss it. The rogues had taken over RiverClan while she went hunting for a fox that was stealing prey. She refused Crystalstar's offer of having another cat go with her. It was her mission.
Silverdapple found the fox, a a moon after she started her mission. It was dead, and she found it was a she-fox, with a cub. The cub was starving when she found it, and she decided to feed it. She caught a rabbit and gave it to the poor thing. Luckily, the cub was off in Dream Valley, where no clan cat will bother it. Before she left the baby fox, she asked a kind rogue to take care of her. He promised the fox will be okay in his care. His name was... gosh, it was hard to remember now, being another two moons since the baby fox was found.
Silverdapple started walking towards the RiverClan side of Fourtrees, and the she stopped. She shook her head.
"I can't go back there," she meowed. "I'll become a prisoner like Dawnsplash said." Dawnsplash was a RiverClan queen, and she couldn't say anything about the rogues. Yet, she met the queen outside camp one day, scaring her by accident. That's where she heard the whole story.
After Dawnsplash told her everything, Silverdapple had to flee, because two rogues came outside camp. She thought they saw her, so she gave all she had, running wherever was safe. Her paws happened to bring her to Fourtrees. She questioned how she cleared the river, but since she didn't feel like she ran through it, she knew she had to manage to find her way into the twoleg bridge. She knew she was safe when she ran headlong into the bushes that circled the giant oak trees.
Staring out now towards RiverClan territory, she missed her clanmates, the feel of their fur, their scent, everything. She's been living like a rogue for one moon and a half. She wanted to go back so bad that her paws tried to take her home. Well, she knew one look at what used to be her home wouldn't be bad. She just hoped the rogues hadn't destroyed everything she knew.

Silverdapple padded into RiverClan territory, her excitement at being in her own territory fading when she caught the new scent of rogues, overlaying the RiverClan scent. Anger flooded her as she struggled with feelings that her friends were now living like rogues, captive in their own camp, unable to rescent the borders themselves, and hunt for their clan. She hastily tried to swallow her anger as she neared the camp.
She thought back to the conversation she had with Dawnsplash. If what the queen said was true, the plumpest cats she will see inside camp would be rogues and queens.
