I’ve Always known I was a tad different from everyone else, I dressed differently, I Chose Monster trucks over barbies, Playing in the dirt with mud all over me over Tea parties and princess dresses. So it’s not much of a surprise the 16 years later I am as Gay as Can be. I live in a small town outside of Dallas, Tx in the deep country. People out here are very religious and very judgmental. So it’s hard being the only Black Gay female in a town full of very ignorant people if you know what I mean. My Name is Truth Tubman Douglass and this is my coming out story.
