Chapter 1
Bree sat in her apartment staring at her phone. She got a call from her dad asking her to come home because something happened. She packed a bag. There was a knock at the door. She opened it and saw her best friend, Rachel and her husband James.
โHey guys,โ Bree said.
โHey sweetie,โ James said.
โWhat happened,โ Rachel said.
โI got a call from my dad asking me to come home because something happened and he wouldnโt tell me what it was,โ Bree said.
โBaby,โ James said.
โWe are going with you, get your stuff and we will stop and get ours on the way, you are not going alone,โ Rachel said.
โThanks guys,โ Bree said.
โWhat are friends for,โ Rachel said. They got her stuff and she locked up and they went and got theirs and they headed out of the city. They lived in Denver, Colorado. Her family lived in Texas. They took turns driving. They arrived in Amarillo, Texas and went to her family home.
โSweetheart, you are home!โ her dad said.
โDaddy,โ Bree said. She hugged him. She saw her stepmother.
โHi sweetie,โ Sally said.
โHey Sally,โ Bree said. They hugged.
โJames, Rachel, good to see you both,โ Thomas said.
โYou too, sir, I hope you donโt mind me and Rachel tagging along,โ James said.
โYou two are family,โ Thomas said.
โThanks Dad,โ Rachel said.

โDad what is going on?โ Bree asked.
โSweetheart, letโs go inside,โ Thomas said. They all went in and she saw her twin brother. She ran and hugged him.
โMy beautiful twin sis, I missed you so much,โ Brad said.
โI missed you too,โ Bree said.
โBree!โ Faith said.
โHey Faith!โ Bree said. They hugged. They all sat down.
โOkay the real reason you are here is because Iโm getting married,โ Brad said.
โWhat?โ Congratulations,โ Bree said.
โThanks sis, you may not like with who,โ Brad said.
โJust tell me,โ Bree said.
โTo me,โ Faith said.
โWhat okay so you are marrying our stepsister?โ Bree asked.
โTwinnie, we arenโt blood related and we canโt help who we fall in love with,โ Brad said.
โI know that, Iโm happy for you, just in shock but happy, thatโs all I want for you, when Dad called me, he made it seem like something horrible happened,โ Bree said.
โWill you be my maid of honor?โ Faith asked.
โOf course,โ Bree said.
โSis there is something else, we kicked Beth out of the family because what she did was horrible,โ Brad said.
โWhat did she do?โ Bree asked.
โA few days after you moved to Denver, we found her in bed with Kyle,โ Faith said.
โTurns out that they have been sneaking around ever since before you guys broke up,โ Brad said.
โSo he was cheating on me,โ Bree said.
โYeah with Beth,โ Faith said.
โI canโt believe this,โ Bree said.
โWe all yelled at her and I told her she was no longer my sister,โ Brad said.
โI disowned her,โ Thomas said.
โDad,โ Bree said.
โSweetheart, she betrayed this family,โ Thomas said.
โSheโs always been jealous of me,โ Bree said.
โSis, sheโs always wanted what you had,โ Brad said.
โWell she got something I had, my first love,โ Bree said.
โWe have a guest coming tonight,โ Thomas said.
โWho?โ Bree asked.
โYou will see, sweetheart,โ Thomas said. She hugged them and went to her room she had at the house. Her dad showed James and Rachel to one of the guest rooms. She got settled into her room.
