Prologue

Lily was a moderately tall girl who didn’t really give a fuck what others think of her. Her hair reached down to her shoulders and almost reached past them. Lily’s hair was the color of chocolate with natural low-lights of caramel. Her eyes were as brown as her hair. Her ears were pierced to the highest point, but most only saw one ear, as she had all her hair brushed and clipped to one side. She was never seen without her eyeliner so sharp it could cut and her signature spiked choker. Lily’s eyes were ringed by black glasses. Her skin was slightly tanned, which surprises many people, as she ran a very popular YouTube channel and various blogs under the pseudonym Skydra.

Alissa was a sweet, levelheaded girl of mostly Asian decent. Her dark brown hair was pulled not too tidily into a thin braid. Her dark green eyes were shrouded by smokey black makeup. Alissa had small silver hoops in her ears. She was commonly called plain by most people on the street, but Alissa couldn’t be more different. She was very well known for her outrageous selfies, which included climbing insanely high buildings (legally, of course), and unique and extravagant outfits.

Emily was a tiny, excitable girl. Her hair was a mass of ginger curls surrounding a pale face dotted over with freckles. She wore quite a bit of makeup, but not many noticed, as she always was aiming to get a cutesy, little girl look. More often than not she succeeded. Due to this, many people were put off by her necklaces with fangs on them. She was very skinny, despite the fact that she hardly ever left the kitchen. Emily was a baker who created many new, delicious recipes, many of which she posted online. Because of this, she had a gigantic cult following on several social media sites and could be considered a “religion” on Tumblr.
Sophie was a very competitive girl with dark skin and black hair tied into dreadlocks. A smirk always adorned her face and yellow glasses rested on the bridge of her nose. She wore little to no makeup, not out of feigning innocence, but merely pure laziness. Not even to mention her long-standing pact with herself to never wear anything but giant hoodies her entire life. Sophie was an extraordinarily famous gaming Youtuber and had made substantial money off of sheer internet fame.

The most amazing thing about all four of these important online sensations, however, were their ages. All four were in college. And even better, they went to the very same university. And to further blow any and all minds, Alissa and Sophie were roommates, as well as Emily and Lily. This would either work out insanely well or be run through the ground into Hell. No in-between. As is the very best of stories.
