"The Wardens: members of an ancient order...fallen into dust. Sworn to defend the weak, masters of the longsword. Their origins lost to history; still they fight for what is right. Driven by duty, devoted to their people... but only a few may join their order."
"Courageous and talented, The Warden was an embodiment of virtue, who fought for peace and stability. They strongly value their code as a knight and will serve their master without question no matter how much they dislike or disagree with them."
--------------------------
Y/n was a legend, one that would be passed down for centuries, from generation to generation, for starting and ending his own war, one to change the course of northern Europe for better, but then again, war. War never changes. Here is his story.
Once a Warden, always a Warden. This is what mattered to Y/n, and if you were on the wrong side, you were guaranteed to fall to his might, nearly becoming king, Y/n ruled over late 13th century Europe with a diplomatic iron fist, he was intelligent, far beyond the average leader, born in 1383, he died a warriors death, on the battlefield of a war, but one he started, but it was indeed for the greater good. The tyrant, the warmonger, the wolf... Apollo, was the ruler of a legion of knights, hell-bent on war. His legions would march out pillaging foreign lands, but one land he came across was one his army would be sworn to regret ever coming across... The land of the Whitestone Legion, ruled by Trainyolga III, but under high general command of the legendary white knight, Y/n.
Y/n regularly traveled with a legion of white wardens, he himself taking the lead, they would travel the border of their lands and protect the outer cities, from either raiders, pillagers, or bandits. And even an attacking nation if need be. This would be the downfall of the legendary Y/n, and Apollo himself. Both of them met in a city dubbed, 'lionspire', Y/n, who had stayed there for the night with his legion of 1,000 knights, and 250 horseback archers, has recently received information that a Blackstone banner has been spotted a few miles away by sentries place far away from the city. Y/n knows the danger of the Blackstone legion, and he won't stand for this, he rallies his men to the city square, and they call the civilians to hide themselves until the end of the battle.
The Blackstone legion is aware of the city they have come across, and Apollo wishes to claim this land for himself, but for a fair price, he sees the fort here as worthy of his new home, and doesn't like the peasants staying there, so he'll be sure to slaughter them when he arrives, and be sure to contact their kings while he's at it.
Preparing the charge, Y/n stood strong on his horse, covered in white iron chainmail, he spoke an inspiring speech reminding his legion of knights the reason why they are called wardens, and they charge to meet the Blackstones head-on.
Clashing head-on, the two colors and standpoints of light and dark, fight to keep their own version of peace in this land, only one may come out on top, just who will it be?
Y/n swipes his sword at a group of infantryman, taking out half a dozen with his own sword, hundreds of Blackstone filth, dying in one fell swoop, the Whitestone wardens were not one to be trifled without cation. However, soon they came under fire by arrows, they weren't worried however, their high quality armor will more more than enough to tank a few arrows, they unleash their own barrage and take down another hundred of their army, having lost only a few dozen, things were looking good for Y/n, until right when a horn blew, and a small legion of Samurai donned in black and orange, came charging out of the woods a few hundred meters back, when the two sides met, the Whitestone Legion, lost around 500 wardens in one attack, the archers repositioned and fired apon the samurai, and took out a few dozen, but they had wooden shields light enough to tank a few arrows.
Time-skip 1 hour ~
Y/n was beginning to tire, but then, he heard a warcry, of his own wardens pushing through the Blackstone lines, effectively breaking the Blackstone legion in half, they successfully reached their commander, Apollo, he wasn't very amused by this little charge, and took it apon himself and a group of elite warriors to push the Whitestones back, cutting down a few dozen, Apollo and his men pushed the Wardens back, and Y/n was there to stop their advance, his legion, only a few hundred strong, made one last push after finally ridding themselves of the samurai, and the two sides were each losing men, but the Whitestones were not ones to fall prey to low morale, and they kept fighting at their full strength, willing to die for Y/n and the warden code.
Apollo knew his men wouldn't last against the wardens, he had to put an end to their leader, he notices a group of his minions fly back a few feet, with a large elegant knight in the middle of his formation, pushing his army back singlehandedly. Apollo rushed to meet this warden head-on, insuring his defeat, would likely mean the end of this battle.
Apollo finally met up with the powerful warden, taking a fighting stance, he rushed at the warden with tenacity, ensuring he wouldn't dodge this.
Y/n notices a blade coming his way, he trys to dodge it, but he gets slashed on the shoulder by the attack. He readys himself for a fight, and recognizes the black armored knight who struck him as Apollo, he knows that this will be the fight of his life, and he steels himself for a fight to the death.

Apollo, who is also ready to kill, charges forwards with a side sweep with his sword. Swinging with all of his might, he is blocked by the warden and tries to attack again, except faster, but the warden counters with his own attack, swiping his top swing away and slashing Apollo's chest plate, he grunts in pain, but isn't held back by it. He readies another attack and swings his blade in a threatening manner.
Y/n: "Incumbuī!"
Apollo: "Die!"
Y/n deals with the blade's attack easily, and he parries and readies a quick attack to catch the disgruntled warmonger in a damaging embrace. He swipes his longsword twice across and bashes the warmonger in the chest.
Y/n: "Miserum!"
Apollo: "Gah!"
Y/n readies another bash, except he holds it and waits until he fully charges it, Apollo, who was still on edge, dodges what he assumes is another quick bash, but he was wrong, and is heavily bashed by the warden. Y/n unleashed his bash and slashes the warmonger across the neck with a mighty blow.
Y/n: "Te secabo!"
Apollo: "Guh!"
Apollo knew that he would recover from this, and decided he needed to end the fight before he died, as a last ditched attempt, he pushed his clawed gauntlet into the warden's chest plate, who wasn't expecting a retaliation after such a deadly blow. And he throws a quick attack followed by a might blow of his own.
Y/n: "Hm!"
Apollo: "Enough! Sheep!"
Y/n is slashed across the chest plate, he tries to attack but his attack was parried by the warmonger, and the warmonger brings his sword into the warden's chest, carrying him across the battlefield until the warden fell down, stabbing his sword deeper into the warden.
Y/n: "Gah!"
Apollo: "This is it!"
The warden attempts to get off the ground but is held down by the warmonger, who thrusts the sword deeper in. Apollo knows his time is up, but knows that he'll be able to atleast take the warden with him. Y/n, barely clinging onto life, lets the both of them bleed out next to each other on the ground. The battlefield is quiet, beside the clanking of boots, it seems the wardens have won, but at what cost? Y/n's vision blurs and he slowly fades into darkness. But his grip on his sword tightens, he gets the feeling, his battle isn't over yet...
