The author tells the story so well that I found myself racing to the end and unable to put the book down. Above all, this book should probably be required reading for all coaches in youth sports across the country, as it embodies both the best and worst of what I have witnessed over many years of involvement in youth sports programs. "

"I saw this being promoted on Twitter and was intrigued by the synopsis so I clicked on it, planning to read only a couple chapters to get a feel for the story before heading to bed but I have found myself staying up late after binging the whole story. Truly felt myself transported to this small midwestern town and found myself trying to connect the dots and guessing (quite incorrectly) who the killer could be. The message at the end in the Afterword really sealed the 5 stars for me. I have a little brother in Little League as well as other sports and I have seen adults take the fun away from these kids. Living in a small midwest town with a team from the state heading to the World Series right now, this really couldn't have come at a better time. I tip my hat to you, author, I know writing isn't easy first hand but I think you've really hit this story out of the park."
