CHAPTER 1
Meli was born in Chino, California and was raised by her single mother who lived with her great grandmother. Her name is Rose and she had a job shop and that's where she met meli's father Michael. and she started a relationship with him knowing that he had a wife and kids but he told her that they were seperated. So Rose didn't think that it was important at the time. They been going out for 2 years and a year later that's when she got pregnant with meli. She told Michael and he was very shocked so he decided to leave her and go back with his wife and kids. Rose was so devastated he never came to visit anymore or returned any of his calls when she would call him. Then one summer day on July 24, 1989 Rose went into labor at work and then that's when Michael decided to walk into the donut shop with wife. So on that day that's when her and Meli's life changed for the worst.
