"The way the author was able to balance and contrast hope and despair in the face of the brutal reality of the setting made the plot and the characters very real and sympathetic. I also loved how there was a beauty to the bitterness: it wasn't just sad with no purpose. Incredible work."

"Wow! the author killed it! This is one of the best short stories I have had the honor of reading in a long, long time. I was hoping that Asha's and Dean's fate might have turned out differently, but alas it was not to be. Kudos to the author for a story told with eloquences and such sad beauty that it nearly broke my heart!"
