"the author was able to come up with a planned marriage that was out of the ordinary. it started with the usual male lead character disrespecting the female lead character obviously leaving her right after the ceremony. i was a bit disgusted and surprised that ivory even with his rude, indifferent behavior towards her was still able to tolerate him and wouldn't leave and later divorce him because she loves of her love for her father whom she thought might suffer a heart attack if she did. but bless the author for adding a new character - adrian who was a grown up adult on the outside but was a five yr old internally. his comments and behavior must have made ivory's life bearable, especially since he somehow treated their house more of his home than his. perhaps, the two matched since the author also described ivory as being childlike. the one characteristic i noticed was that the author was able to convey the message was ivory never dwelt in the past and just treated it as something that has happened and no one can do anything about it. although, she never forgot what james did to her, cheated and lied to her and still is bent on pursuing her using his mother as the jumping board to get back to her. another thing that was i clearly saw was that darius trusted ivory and showed it and told her when he left her alone with james in the room. most of the stories i've read about marriages always pointed out that one of the parties, usually the husband would kick out, divorce the wife simply because of fake photos, showing the absence of trust. one incident was for me very funny was when darius "proposed" to ivory asking her to marry her again but the proposal was more of a command or an order. and when ivory demonstrated to him how a proposal is done, he just replied "yes" that i laughed till my stomach ached. i'm glad the author didn't include any bedroom scenes. i always believed that such scenes should be left to the imagination of the reader. in addition, in this story, there was really no need for such scenes because the story itself is very interesting and not lacking in funny, unexpected and expressive descriptions. the author has a great, a God given talent in her use of semantics and imagination. i hope the author writes more stories in this light. and after reading this story, i felt great satisfaction and entertainment. i'll look forward to it."
