Summary

"Tears those don't touch the ground often make a hole in the heart." Manik Shrikant Malhotra is a medical student in AIIMS Delhi. Despite being a brilliant student of surgery, he has a severe anger management puroblem which characterizes him as a college bully among his juniors. His aggressive and arrogant nature leads him to have a scuffle with the college dean and eventually, he elects to leave the college but changes his mind upon catching the sight of a shy and beautiful first-year student Nandini Murthy. Gradually, they become known to each other to friends and then get involved in passionate and intimate love. Nandini tries to cope with his overbearing and hostile attitude, however, her father raises questions about their relationship and Manik makes it more complicated by his bad temper. Nandini’s father forces her to marry his friend’s son and due to a misunderstanding, Nandini gets married, leaving Manik devastated. He chooses a self-destructive path in anger and to cope with his emotions, he starts abusing drugs and alcohol and attempts one-night stands. What happens next? Does Manik destroy himself completely bearing the pain of his unsuccessful love in his broken heart or Nandini comes back in his life?
