The books idea is good it's just there are to many periods.
"When you end a sentence like "hey where am I?" You put the (?) inside of the ("").commas are for when your talking and give related information :"yes we have his whereabouts,it was hard to find them though." It would be like that. Periods are for the end of sentences. They do not go in ("") they are at the end of a sentence inside the original sentence eg. "I woke up with a burning pain in my stomach." Then you start the next sentence so (".") Is a no. Only if it's a silence then you put 3 dots like this ("...") That says quiet. Other than that it's great just take what I said to heart and look up things like how to not overuse periods or where do commas go. They are very helpful. Pinterest also"
