"I loved this twist on Beauty and the Beast. The impulsive revenge of an enchantress for her sister’s hurt feelings result in not one curse, but two. The enchantress and the prince are both cursed to have their outward appearances reflect the darkness in their hearts. I loved seeing Enchantress Alma look deeply into her own actions. She and Prince Dante both experienced some necessary growth. "

Pretty good story
"Overall I enjoyed this story. The main character was quick to make assumptions at the beginning, although I count it as a character flaw (and having those is a good thing even if I found it a touch annoying), and that trait slowed down as she learned more during her arc. I also thought the prince seemed to forgive a bit too easily after his emotional reactions to negative things. While I’m glad he forgave what happened, I would have liked to see a bit of struggle, or at least speaking of it. Of course maybe he just is a nice forgiving person—maybe too nice to eventually run a kingdom, but that’s not the scope of the story. Nonetheless, this was a good read, and I’d recommend it to anyone who likes feel good fairy-tale HEA stories and isn’t looking for smut."
