The Purple Majesty
"I was captivated entirely instantly from the very beginning. I was fascinated by how the author used earth and color to bring out this story. He pulled me into the character's role in my mind as I was reading the paragraphs. You amazed me in your storytelling. Mother Nature is beautiful, yet she is deadly and can quickly destroy, and she can easily make you happy. Guilt and regret pour out of this character who lost so much in so little time!"
Intriguing!
"I was immediately captivated by the writer's use of colors and description of natural elements. The prose in this story is the true definition of lyrical- honestly, I felt compelled to read some of it out loud because of how gorgeously crafted the sentences were. The plot has an air of grief, mystery and greatly triggered my curiousity about the Purple Majesty and how the characters in this world relate to it. I was also drawn to the plight of the main character, for all that the writing is like a song, the truth of this world is quite harsh as evidenced by the attitude of the old woman at the end of the scene. Absolutely lovely writing and I would love to read more from this author, added to my reading list."
