U.A. High

Backstory: when I was three my parents moved from America to Japan because my dad had a work opportunity. My dad was a hero and I idolized him, but it all went sideways when a gang of villains found out all my dad’s information about, his real name, family, address, and all the other things you could know about him, and you might be thinking that oh it’s not that bad, but my dad was a top ten hero in the world so any dirt you can find on one, you know they’re gonna use it. I don’t know exactly how the info got leaked but they found out where we lived and the villains kidnapped me and my mother. they took us to this weird warehouse and they ambushed my dad when he came bursting in and they beat him to death and I had to watch my dad get beaten until he was stone cold dead. what was even crueler is that they released my mother and let her run to me then they decide to shoot her in front of me. so I had to watch both my parents get killed in front of me. tragic right? yeah I know, and mind you I was only three years old so that shit stuck with me and fueled me with anger and rage. I know what you’re probably thinking right now, ′ well why didn’t they kill you? ’, well those evil mother fuckers( whom I kill later on in life) to ship me off to some weird academy for orphaned children, which was a very hard pill to swallow. it turns out later that the ‘academy’ was actually where they turn children into assassins and, train them to kill anything and anyone. the funny thing is that the location of this place is in Russia and honestly I had given up trying to escape after the first year of being there I had to endure six long-ass years of torture, abuse, and training to become an assassin. at the academy, they also give the girls a hysterectomy (which is where they remove your uterus) so we can’t have kids so it doesn’t hinder our work in the future. I had my first target at age nine but after I completed my mission I had attempted to go back to the academy so I could live somewhere, but they put me out to the streets and so I ended up hitchhiking across Asia and landed in japan I pretty much wandered the streets until I met these older kids. they were only a couple years older but I found out that all of them were orphaned too. their names were Eren Yeager, Mikasa Ackerman, and Armin Arlert they took me in and all I had was a hunter’s knife and a burner phone, and a charger for said phone. I also met their uncle who was only in his early twenties when I met him, he’s still to this day one of the strongest men I know, his name is Levi Ackerman. I ended up staying with them and if I got a call from the academy for a new target I would sneak out in the middle of the night and I would be gone for a couple of days to a couple of weeks, but uncle Levi never said anything even though I know he knew I left. but I did bring money for my stay and to help out with groceries and bills but I put the rest in my bank account. ( i got paid to kill people) It’s not the best job out there but you gotta do what you gotta do. END

I walk off a private jet at the Tokyo airport with my two suitcases and my backpack. it took the private plane so they wouldn’t have to check my bag or go through security. I leave the airport and call a taxi, I put my luggage in the trunk of the cab and hop in the backseat with my backpack. I turn to the driver ” Musutafu, Shizuoka Prefecture, U.A High school." he nods and he pulls off the curb and I started a long journey to come.

The ride to U.A was about two and a half hours it was around 10 a.m. when I arrived at the airport so it should give me enough time to freshen up before I meet with principal Nezu for my orientation. I look out the window to see we were pulling up in front of U.A. I get my wallet out of my backpack and pull out my black card to get ready to pay. "ma'am that will be 4,217.42$ I nod and hand him my card. he swipes it and hands it back. I put it back in my wallet " have a good day ma'am" the driver says as he pops the trunk. I open the car door with my backpack and step out on the sidewalk and stretch my legs. I walk over to the trunk grab my suitcases and start walking toward the gate for U.A. I ring the little doorbell and I hear a buzzing sound. " state your name" I hear a monotone voice say. " Karusima Harisu," I say loudly. I hear another buzzing sound, then I see the gate open. I continue walking while dragging my luggage behind me. I check my apple watch to make sure I have enough time to freshen up before the meeting. I had 25 minutes left until the meeting. I walk into the main office, I see a lady at the front desk " hi is it ok if I leave my things here to use the bathroom? I smile politely she nods and points down the hall " the bathroom is down the hall to your right. I thank her and leave my suitcases in a corner of the room, I take my backpack with me to the bathroom and without even looking I turn the corner and I run into someone it was almost as if was in slow motion I saw books dropping to the ground and not even thinking about I use my foot to catch them and balance while grabbing onto the person preventing myself from falling. I lift my leg and grab the stack of books, I look up and see a boy with fluffy, dark green hair with freckles. " um I'm sorry I wasn't looking where I was going." I say as I hand him his books. he started stuttering " n-n-no its n-not y-your fault, I wasn't paying attention..." he started muttering so I could hear the rest. I was about to walk away but he grabbed my arm." uh sorry I tend to mutter and get caught up in thought. allow me to formally introduce myself, hi my name is Izuku Midoriya. I'm a first-year, here at U.A. High, but you can just call me Deku." he holds out his hand, his face had a pink tinge to it. I shake his hand" well it's nice to meet you deku, I'm Karusima Harisu, and I'm also a first-year ut I'm new to the school I actually just transferred to the school, and I really have to go so I guess ill see you around."

Obsidian: He's hilarious. Like, actually. I loved it. You're writing style is great, although you could do with a few less murmurs and mutters. I know it sounds critical, but I have the same problem and I hate it. Overall, it was one of the best stories I've read on here so far. I liked it better than those M...
