Intro

This is a story based on the 2010 earthquake that took place in Haiti. The full names of my characters are purely coincidental and not in any way related to real-life individuals, however they are inspired by myself and my loved ones. Although I am not Haitian, I've done extensive research to make my story seem as realistic as possible. That said, I apologize if I offended anyone. I'll do my best to fix it!

There will be a few main characters in this story! They are all Haitian, born and raised. More will come soon:

-Emma Pamphile, age 17

-Ella Pamphile, age 10

-Father (Jean Pamphile), age 37

This story is set in Port-au-Prince, Haiti’s capital, Léogâne, where the earthquake has the biggest impact, and in between the two places.

TopazHorizon: What a sweet love story! I loved all the little stories from their childhood and teenhood. It really gave depth to their very fast love story. It made sense! I love how their parents were part of the story, too. I love how Theo is so gentle with her, like she's fragile... And yet so bossy in bed hah...
