A Mystery Unfolds!
"I'm a great believer in writing for myself, taking my time, checking, reviewing, editing, paying the greatest attention to spelling, tense, grammar and continuity. This takes time. I loved the introduction to the story - raised expectations of an unfolding mystery, treasures to come, Wrenny herself is an unfurling story, offspring of an elvish mischievous, illicit birth. At this point your story is brimming with excitement, rustic charm, very elvish quirks. IMHO you sped through chapter 2 too quickly, it felt disjointed. Slow down, take your time, use that amazing image of Wrenny and hero to inspire you - and see if you can make things clearer for the reader. Best Wishes HJ."
