The Ruined Cloak
When you sit on a cliff, several thoughts circle, perhaps of the sunset, or jumping down. It varies, sort depends on what kind of person you are.
And if you are seeing this then be aware, the journey has some tempting scares, secrets that hold scars, tears of the innocent. So doesn’t matter how hideous, do not ever try jumping from the cliff cause of my roar.
I smirk and get up, the dirt stuck on my cloak. What has been done, is done I suppose. My fingers grip the side of it, as I summon a knife and cut off the ruined part of it. Alas, it was my favorite one, but who cares right? Everything I had is burned in my own tears. Don’t worry I won’t get ahead of myself.
But I also won’t tell the whole story, it’s a mystery of the unknown. Do I care to unfold it? No. The word of my deeds has been out for quite a while now. So you will come to know what went down with the most vicious Sorcerer there was in Whilingtown. And in the world.
Oh, you will know the cries of my nemesis, just stick around cause the plague of my era has just started and we both know that humans are not very good with change. I walk as the people gather around the grey cemented area, all the photographers there present to frame my misery, or perhaps to get out of theirs. I turn as each tries to avoid my eyes, none have the courage to hold my glare, I don’t pose any glare actually, quite, on the contrary, I always had a calm glaze. I wonder why people make everything they don’t understand, evil?
I sigh and lift a finger to shut the chatter, my lips part a little and I speak as everyone listens, they always do.
“No need for the presence, As you can see my thrown has had quite some competition, should I worry? sure. Do I worry? No. So why don’t you go off to the little shelters and leave me to reach my pinnacle again. Savy?” I turn around, a dramatic turn of course.
The one who threatened my throne is obviously the good one, my mind doesn’t really remember the name. But what was the title they gave him? oh, yes. The Chosen One. Don’t get me wrong I always love the savior in books, how he who does no wrong comes along to solve. But this. This is something he cannot solve, because the chaos I created is not meant to be solved, just to be suffered. I wish the pretty boy would understand that.
As I walk to the cliff. Every eye following my steps. Every breath of the beings around me wrapped around my finger, every word gone in my ora. As I walk to the end. I turn again to face the questionable yet mimicking faces.
“Dawn awaits the devil.”
Now, what did I say in the beginning, ah! yes, whatever happens never think to jump down the cliff. Never.
With that, I jump down the cliff as my eyes shut with the chatter of their cameras and glance of their flashes. Don’t worry love.
The devil has just started.
