Itโs the year 6120, and in the enchanting House of Tarak - one of the four Houses constructing the Mortal Realm - an abandoned Princess must die in order to survive.
As a child damned by the Holy Temple solely for the color of her blood, Pandora has learned long ago that only an apex predator is safe from being preyed upon. Long years of torment and sufferings have rendered her wicked and vicious in the eyes of her Clan of Cat-Eye. Emotions are but an opportunity for the enemy to strike, and so when sheโs forced to marry the Lord of one of their neighboring Clans, she accepts for the sake of her people. Day by day, the investigation to unravel the ever-so-dark secret behind these rebellious strikes continuous, and Pandora learn that there may be more to life than simply killing or dying. And as if none of that sufficed, her foolish heart seems to lead a war of its own every time the secretive first in command, Ciaran, decides to step out of his shadows, and teach her that not all survivors must rise as heroes.
