Its wow!

"A very good and intriguing short story. I thought she was the good and innocent person but when you continue reading on the other persons point of view you stay with your mouth open. I love the diary and then the court where everything is explained to you how it really went down. I stayed confused how it turned out I still believe that she is innocent but then again there are women out there with those type of problems so you just never know. Great story that you shared her feelings and worries. Loved it!"

"I love the idea of how this stories perspective evolves. This author's flare for a dramatic twist is sensational! I absolutely loved the journal being the key component in the story the good guy and ultimately the bad guy. The story starts out with sparks and heat and quickly degenerates into something we are all guilty of not speaking up about more, and in this instance even more so. How this story stopped and turned on a dime left me aghast, It was a revelation that not foe one moment did I see coming. By the end I was in tears. For a short story it packed a punch.. highly recommend it."

"So, you don't often see stories like this or even hear about this type of thing in real life anymore. The tables were turned in this thrilling adventure that follows our protagonists through their journey to destiny. The author excelled in her descriptions of the events from both perspectives (male and female, abuser and victim), and allowed the reader to try and figure out what would happen using these descriptions. The plot did not follow pop culture norms, however that just added to the charm of the story. Its not what you would expect it to be. Ms. Woods has shined the light on this topic in a very unique fashion... from the other side of the room! Truth be told, not many would be able to do this with such decorum, taste, vivid detail, and explosive twists. An excellent read!! 5+ stars!!"

"Angel L Woodz weaves a story of manipulation and deceit. The curveball comes during court testimony, where the reader reaslises that the victim is not who they likely thought. I'm glad she touched on something that many like to sweep under the rug, that domestic violence happens to men as well. As a survivor of domestic violence myself, I find it deplorable that ANY abuse of this nature is hidden "that can't happen to a man", "women aren't capable of abusing their partners"... I've heard these said myself and they are not true. Kudos to Angel for bringing this often obscured occurrence out into the forefront. There were some grammatical issues, but other than that, an excellent short read!"

"I really liked the complete mystery of who is the manipulator and who is the victim. The author did a fantastic job of showing a abuse situation that is more complex and how easy a few left out pieces can easily be twisted. I am still undecided who was the abuser but I am sure that I would love to read more!"

"We are allowed into the journal of a vulnerable woman who succumbs to the manipulations of a sociopath. We share her elation, passion, desperation and fear. Great storytelling. Loved the courtroom drama as a device to show each characters voice. To be able to understand how one becomes compelled through flattery and sex, and made to feel a part of someone then betrayed by them. Reading a story like this one is a window into the darkness."
