Shoto coming home from work and sliding down onto the floor and crying, and you rush over to him, and he tells you his father was pushing him around, and he didn’t want him to hurt you. So you sit on the floor, hugging him and drawing circles on his back with your fingers while he sobs into your shoulder, until he stops shaking and tries to stand up. But when he tries to get up, his legs give out, and he falls but you catch him just in time, and he starts crying again because “why can’t he be strong enough to just stand up?”.
Then Endeavor shows up at the door and demands to see Shoto, but you tell him to go away, and Shoto looks up at you and whispers to you to run, but you shake your head no, because you swore to stand by him through everything.
Then Endeavor burns the door down, and Shoto scrambles up to stand in front of you to protect you. Endeavor tells Shoto to move, but he doesn’t, and Endeavor pushes Shoto into the wall, and Endeavor kicks him because “he’s supposed to be a hero, but he can’t even stand up to protect the love of his life”. You fall backwards into the counter, trying to process everything that’s happening, but you can’t, but you tell Endeavor to leave both of you alone, and get out of your house, which makes him turn away from Shoto.
He walks up to you and pushes you into the counter, while Shoto is trying to stand up, but he’s having trouble because he’s in so much pain. Shoto stands up, and tells Endeavor to leave, and Endeavor just gets even more mad. So Shoto stands up and uses his ice, and Endeavor turns around laughing, because “he’s so foolish to think he could beat his father”, while you take the opportunity to get away from him and run towards Shoto to help him. You both fight, and you barely win, but you won and that’s what matters.
You sink to the floor trying to process what just happened, and Shoto comes running over to you apologizing profusely and sobbing, while you tell him it’s alright, and that you’re both ok, and that’s what truly matters. Shoto slowly stops crying, and he pulls you into a tighter embrace, before saying “I love you”, and pulling you into a soft kiss.
