Summary

What if Cinderella was Cindercole, a 17 year-old boy living in Mississauga, Canada. What if the Prince was the most polite, formal transgender boy at school? This is their story. A lonely Canadian town on the outskirts of Toronto plays host to wilder things than you might imagine. Beneath the monotonous dulcet tones of high school life, not old enough to party properly and too old to socialise with parents, the online community plays host to the fantastical minds of those who prefer to play online. When Cole sends a message to a mysterious user across a digital art platform his world begins to change for the unexpected. As a relationship forms and their worlds collide with passion the two will come to learn more about one another and themselves than they could have ever imagined.

Chapter 1

Once upon a time on a cold January morning in 1999, Cole was born to his mother and father. They were a close, tight knit family that believed in creativty and celebrating diversity. His mother helped Toronto's budding artists, and his father assisted in helping refugees settle into their new home in Canada.

Tragically, the family was not meant to last in such an ideal. During the September 11 attacks in 2001, Cole's father was tragically killed in one of the plane's. Their family mourned, and his mother, Renetta, was forced to raise her son as a single mother. In spite of her husband's death, she refused to allow grief to completely rule them and she ensured Cole grew up to be a child who strove to welcome all.

However, Renetta did miss life with a partner. She knew it and Cole could see it. So when she met her future spouse, Henry Tremaine, when he was twelve Cole was thrilled. A year later, on June 1, 2012 the two married. Renetta earned a new partner, and Cole earned for himself two stepsiblings: Jake and Brian Tremaine.

Walker of the Dark: Short but definitely intense and amazing. Rage and Aspen were amazing together and I am glad to see a woman who is strong, determined on what she wants and well connected as a bonus. Also enjoyed seeing how even the Mafias is not all "stable" and how a bad bean can spread like wildfire if not contro...

Kelly Teachout: It was a good story. I just wish that there would have been more description of the characters as well as the settings. It could’ve also been a little bit longer little more backstory as well as bit more dialogue but overall is good story good plot.
