A lovely beginning
"This is the story of two very different people finding solace in each other in the face of an impossible choice. Two people, each with their own fears and concerns, must come together in marriage to end a destructive war and save the lives of thousands. Unfortunately, neither is ready to get married. The story is very well laid out. It reads like the bittersweet prologue of a much longer, larger story. I would love to read if the author should ever write more for this couple. As it is, the writing is engaging with few, if any, grammatical and spelling errors. You can see the effort the author put into their work in every line of it. To put it simply, I read the entire story in one sitting and was left craving more. That simply doesn't happen very often for me, anymore."
