When life takes a turn unforeseen, is the lesson within the storm?
Is it life that makes the grey,
Or makes it go away?
Is it years that wrinkle the skin,
Or the emotions gone out and in?
Too many spirits,
The angels called it quits.
Words not said,
Embraces left dead.
Leave behind a soul that’s burned,
And the lesson goes unlearned.
