VAMP

The day started off like any other day. Me, my sisters, and all the other girls in the village were out collecting herbs for spells as the elders (aka wise ones) were bossing us around to get the herbs. By now I was used to but what really kept me going was my nineteenth birthday being a day away and they weren’t going to bring my spirit down.

When I was done with my herb duties, I went back home, my family being well known everywhere, why do you ask? Because my dad was a wolf and my mom a vampire, it doesn’t make sense for me to be a witch and my family to be all over. so long story short it wasn’t normal dating out of your pack or tribe and they broke many rules and we moved around a lot when we weren’t welcomed.

Until we started our own village making where we cannot get judged. Well, not in front of us making us a Royal family, it took many years for us to fit in and get respect, but it happened. Making me a so-called princess, it’s not a walk in the park either, having to deal with all the looks and expectations.

I had to deal with the girls at my private school and the boy. Don’t get me started on how many boys tried to play me but I’m not just a pretty face I have brains the only guy I talked to was my guy best friend in the whole world ( aka Angel) he was alpha to be that’s why my dad liked him but at the end of the day we were best friends and he’d never hurt me or let anyone else hurt me. Vampires were scarce in our village because we were on werewolf grounds and witches were lucky to get to live there, but vampires apart from my mom were a no-no.

So you could imagine the fuss and gossip when a new vampire family moved to town and the guy being in our school I never included myself in things because I didn’t like the attention to myself but the principal had other plans she called me to her office thinking she was going to talk to me about her having a crush on my dad but to my surprise, the guy was sitting there I held back my gasp as I looked at him he didn’t look like how my mom described he was very attractive his eyes were a forest green his hair not too long and not to short as his skin was an even tone the light bounced off him was just making the moment feel like a fairy tale as I was brought back to reality as he stood up and walked out the I thought in my head and smiled at the fact that he had the attitude my mom said they would I quickly followed behind him pacing my speed.“It’s not very nice to walk away when someone is trying to help you learn your way around the school. ” I said as I looked up at him unfazed.

Out of nowhere in the middle of the tour, he said quickly under his breath like he didn’t want me to hear it but said thanks for showing me around I smiled your welcome but you haven’t faced everything yet you still have to go through all the looks and whispers. he looked at me before saying I don’t give two shits what they think about me as he left as quick as he was just there. all say I thought of that.
