In a bed of an hospital room there's a young man on his 15 years of age lying on it and was very upset while putting his phone on a nearby table.

He look at the screen of his phone that displaying defeat sign.

" It's because of you that we loss..you noob !!!! "

The man looks at the side of his bed 🛏️ and shouted

Angrily. Then near the window of the room he looks at a young man with white hair and red eyes who looks like the same age as him.

" Huh don't you dare blame this one on me. No matter how you look at it it's your fault that we loss. If you just do what I say and give me back up we might actually got a comeback. But no you didn't listen and die on your own without contributing any kind of shit. And your blaming me... your the one who's noob here idiot !!! "

The other guy defended himself not backing down on the other guys insult on his play style.

The young man who was sitting on the bed gritted his teeth when he heard the young man on the window.

" What do you mean not giving you back up? You attack them head on without giving any warning on me...and worse you got me died because you carelessly attack"

" La la la la la la la la la please!!! that's what you always say when this thing happened. Just admit it that your bad and stop blaming others "

The young man on the bed sigh and just lie down on the bed and put his hand on his face.

" What you already admitted that it's your fault? "

" Yeah yeah "

The young man on the bed just lazily admitted that it's his fault because he thinks that they not going anywhere with this conversation.

" Hmp if you already know you shouldn't have blame me in the first place hahahaha hahahaha "

The young man on the bed glanced at the man in the window who's laughing arrogantly and just sigh and choice to ignore him.

( Knock knock knock knock knock knock knock knock)

While he was lying on the bed he heard someone knocked on the door.but before he even speak or even try to sit. The door open itself and there's a middle aged woman who enter.

" Oh my you're already awake this time hikkarii-san ! "

The woman who enter his room was quite surprised seeing him already up.

" Yeah...for some reason today I felt very good that might be the reason for my early wake "

" Ahh is that so then that's great "

" UHM "

Hikkarii who's lying on the bed was patient on this hospital. for some unknown illness he's been in the hospital for all of his life. he cannot even take a step out side or even gaze or walk around outside because of his frail body. All of his life he was just in this room. And because of his illness his body is in bad condition that his so thin that it looks like he's already just bones wearing a skin...

The woman was smiling while holding a tray on her hand and walk towards hikkarii's bed.

When she the got near on hikkarii's bed she put the tray on the table.

Hikkarii who's lying on the bed tilted his head and look at the tray on the table. Then he see the woman pick up a syringe 💉.

" Needing to take blood samples again "

" Ahh yes the doctor said "

" Hmm okay.... well I don't think it's gonna help "

When the woman hear Hikkarii she just smile wry not knowing what to say back to the young man. And instead she just took hikkarii's arm Carefully that so thin and inject the syringe and take some blood.

After taking the blood of Hikkarii the woman look at Hikkarii and bid farewell.

" Then now that I done I will leave now Hikkarii-san . So that you can rest "

" Umm thank you "

" Man it sure became awkward whenever a nurse comes in this room. Because you always say negative things like that on your mouth"

As soon the woman left. the boy on the window speak to Hikkarii.

" Hmph leave me alone. What ...? are you expecting me to be happy, smiling on them while they taking my blood every day when it does totally nothing to my illness..! for me it's look like they're are just doing that to make me feel that with that it will help them find something with my illness.. but the truth for sure they already given up and just making face "

Hikkarii spoke angrily and bitten his lips after he was done talking.

" Well I'm not saying that you should smile or be happy when they come.. just act normal and let them do what they came here for. I mean just as you say they already probably given up so even if you try to be so negative it's not like it's going to help change anything "

" I Know!!! "

Hikkarii shout but because of his condition even if he shouted on top of his lungs it's still sounded like he was just saying the words normally.. because of his condition. Even through his felling weak he clenched his fist tightly.

" I know.....I know but I hated when the people around me acting like that. I Know that I'm going to die sooner or maybe next weekend or tomorrow. I Know that!!. It just i wanted them to be honest with me. tell me that there's nothing they can do so I should prepare myself but instead they're saying that I should not give up and believe. Believe in what ?. and I wanted them to stop this farce. So that I don't have to hope "

Hearing and seeing Hikkarii the young man on the window scratches his cheeks. Feeling a little bad.

" Hahahaha well..... Sorry.... come on don't let me feel bad all of a sudden. Here there are many things that should make you happy like here look !!!. "

" Huh what are you talking about ? "

Hikkarii who's looking down lifted his head and look at the young man direction. And then he see the young man pointing the two of his thumbs towards himself. With a big smile on his face.

Hikkarii eyes widen when he see it and he unclench his hand. And just sigh while pointing ☝️ at the young man with an annoyed expression on his face.

" You !??💢 "

" Yeah me!!"

" How the hell did you come up with that. You!! Being the reason that I should be happy."

The young man stopped pointing at himself and just smile at Hikkarii who's not agreeing with him.

" What I meant is that I'm here that you should be happy. Because with me here your not alone at least right ? "

Hikkarii just felt silent hearing the young man unable to argue or deny what he said. But before he even thought to himself an answer to say the young man talk again.

" And you know that your the only one who can see me... It's like a privilege of yours... yeah yeah you should be happy that I even let you to see me. You could say that it's a miracle that I appear in front of you. "

Hikkarii look at the young man with an annoyed expression on his face. He suddenly remember the first time he meet him.

A couple of moths back then like every normal day Hikkarii was lying on the bed while looking at the ceiling of his room. When he sense some one in the room and when he looks at his

Side he see a young man with short white hair and very red eyes dress in strange clothes that looks like a robe.

Hikkarii open and close his mouth a couple of times. He didn't know who or how the boy enter the room. He tried to shout and call for the nurse but the words " help " didn't come out on his mouth no matter how much he wanted to utter it in that situation.

Hikkarii and young man just looked at each other for a couple of minutes. Hikkarii who's unable to take the silence for so long finally speak.

" W who are you ? Why are you h here ? "

Hikkarii ask the young man with a slightly trembling voice . But the young man just looked then close his eyes on hikkarii's questions. After a couple of seconds the young man open his eyes and spoke.

" The SAGE OF DEATH "

" Excuse me? "

Hikkarii was bewildered on the young man answer. That It show on his face and his voice. Instead of hearing the name of the young man what he get was something else.

' what? Sage of death... what was that..... what he mean ? '

While Hikkarii was bewildered and was thinking on his head when the the man spoke Again.

" The sage of death that's what I been called "

Hikkarii stopped thinking and look at the young man face. He can't clearly see clearly because it's already dark and the lights on the room was already turned off but he can somehow felt the man had a big smile creeping on his face.

" Now that I tell you who I am it's my turn now to ask questions ☺️"

" Wha-? "

Hikkarii was speechless on what the young man who proclaimed himself as the sage of death just said.

' your turn I didn't even get to ask where you come from. Why are you here. Or how the hell did you even get inside of this room.'

Hikkarii was about to ask more but he was stunned when a chair near the window suddenly slowly moving.

The chair move and stopped near on hikkarii's bed.

Hikkarii's mouth was wide open when he see that.

' what? What was that just now? '

Hikkarii didn't have the time to think when the young man sit on the chair like it's just normal for a chair to move on its own.

The young man sat on the Chair while his legs are crossed and with both of his hands on his knees. One can say just by looking at him that the situation and the atmosphere in the room is very weird. But for Hikkarii he felt that this thing somewhat normal. In his mind he had the urge to not question why the young man is acting normal in this situation.

" Now for the first question.. What is your name ? "

The young man asked with a smile on his face. Hikkarii was stunned on the question. He was contemplating whether to not answer or to lie.

But to Hikkarii's surprised he genuinely answer the young man question quite quickly.

" H Hikkarii ichijou.... Hikkarii ichijou that's my name "

" Ohh I see. Then how old are you now ? "

" Fourteen years of age "

" Then Why are you here ? "

" Because I am sick "

" Why are you here ? "

Hikkarii was dumbfounded when the young man ask him again with the " why are you here ? "

" Like I said I'm here because I am sick it's about my health "

Hikkarii was quite annoyed by the young man persistent on asking why his in the hospital. The young man who probably notice hikkarii's feeling just smile.

" Ahh I see your probably here to be cured right ? "

" That's a given its a hospital... what was some one supposed to here aside from getting treatment "

" Sorry I thought that your here to wait for your demise "

" Wha-? "

Before even Hikkarii can react on what he just hear. The young man quickly get up from the chair and hold his hand towards hikkarii gesturing for an handshake 🤝

" I will stay here for a couple of Days from now on. So I will probably trouble you but I hope we get along Hikkarii "

" ?????"

Hikkarii who didn't know what's happening anymore cannot utter a single word out of his mouth.

He didn't know what the hell the young man meant by staying on his room or even who the hell is him.

Hikkarii who don't know what to say unconsciously grabbed the young man hand stretched towards him and shake it. Hikkarii who just realized that he's shaking the young man hand sigh and some how give up . In his thought he was probably just dreaming.

" Ahh I don't know what's happening but m me to I hope we get along fine "

After shaking the young man hand at that night he suddenly felt sleepy and slowly close his eyes. But before even he completely closed eyes he managed to hear the young man spoke.

" Good night "

Hikkarii who remember his first meeting with the young man make a bitter face.

" Is that something to be happy about?...I don't think so "

" What do you mean of course you should be happy. that I came here every day and humor your lonely and flickering life "

Hikkarii look at the young man with an annoyed expression. Just like the young man had said since the night that they meet he always appear in the room everyday. Asking him question about himself or him talking about nonsense things. He didn't know when it started but the two of them suddenly somehow became gaming buddy.

" I felt like every day you come here my stress is building up and health becoming much worse though. "

Hikkarii who cannot go out side and play was happy at least the he can play some mobile games in his room. But when he's playing with the young man he felt he was getting tired Everytime.

" Hahaha it's probably just in your head "

Hikkarii sigh tiredly at the young man smiling at him and look at the ceiling instead of the room.

Since the nurse already left and the two of them already done Playing game suddenly the room became quite.

Hikkarii who's lying on the bed blinked a couple of times. Probably felling the drowsiness eating him he decided to slowly shut his eyes to sleep.

But before even had the chance to sleep. The young man spoke with a slightly annoyed tone.

" Haa looks like we wave a visitor again..."

[ Knock knock knock knock knock knock knock knock knock knock]

Upon hearing that Hikkarii hear someone knocking on the door. And just like the first one the door open without his consent.

" Ahh your awake right now hi-chan "

The one who opened the door and enter was a girl on the same age as Hikkarii. She's wearing a school uniform that perfectly fits for her.

She have a long black hair tied on a ponytail. She had a very fair white skin and had very beautiful black eyes. And far more she was quite enormous on certain areas.

" Yeah looks like I woke up earlier than usual.. good morning kaede "

" UHM good morning to hi-chan "

The one who visited Hikkarii was kaede. Kaede itto she's what you call something like a childhood friend of Hikkarii. She's a neighbor kid that his parents introduce to him when they were little.

Kaede smile at Hikkarii and quickly grab a chair and put it close on hikkarii's bed.

" How are you feeling hi-chan "

" I'm fine quite felt refresh some how today "

" Ehh really maybe it's because I'm visiting today that your felling good today "

" Hahaha yeah...you may maybe right. it's probably because of you "

Hikkarii and kaede smile at each other at their exchange. Hikkarii look at the plastic bag that kaede put on the table earlier when she enter the room.

" You bring more books again ? "

" Ahh umm because I think you're probably already done reading the things I bring Last time right ? "

" Yeah I already done reading them for quite while "

" Then it's perfect the ones I bring today was also good "

" Thank you "

Hikkarii was looking at kaede who's smile was blinding whenever he see it.kaede's smile is one of the reasons that Hikkarii manage to control his sanity on his crazy life and it's also becoming like a courage for him to be alive to see kaede's smile a little bit longer.

" Can you please stop calling me with that nickname hi-chan. It's embarrassing kaede "

" Ehh it's only the two of us here so why should I stop. And your hi-chan so I will call you hi-chan end of story "

Hikkarii sigh tired of convincing kaede to change how she was calling him.

" Is it okay for you to stay here for long ? You probably busy aren't you ? "

On hikkarii's questions kaede just pouted and look side ways avoiding eye contact on Hikkarii.

Hikkarii knows that kaede was busy in her highschool life. because kaede is the student council president.

His childhood friend kaede itto aside from just being beautiful she was also very smart. She was someone you might call a genius. She's always on top on any academic studies on her school. She's very well like by her school mates and teachers.

" Where supposed to have a student council meeting later so I was supposed to just come here to drop some books and come back quickly to the school for the meeting . But I didn't know that you will be awake at this time so I was thinking of staying for today. I can at least Skipp one meeting don't you think hi-chan.. ? Right ? "

Hikkarii quickly shut down kaede's intention on skipping the student council meeting because of him. She knows why kaede's acting like this.

There was a time when kaede was visiting him almost every day and every time when they don't have school she always come to visit . But since kaede's enter highschool the days she spent on the hospital visiting Hikkarii lessen to the point that they can almost only meet once a month. Of course it's because kaede is seriously studying for her dream of becoming a doctor and on part she's also the student council president so it's justified why she rarely comes to visit.

Hikkarii was also wanted kaede to stay but no matter how it pain his heart he cannot let kaede be swayed because of him.

" You know that I'm gonna hate you if you didn't go right!...I hate a girl who's irresponsible "
