Chapter 1
Brizee was sitting in her bedroom with her three best friends, Leighanne, Kristin, and Amanda. They were dating Nick, Brian, Kevin, and AJ of the Backstreet Boys. Brizee and Nick just got engaged and the girls are throwing a bachelorette party for her while Brian, Howie, AJ, and Kevin were throwing a bachelor party for Nick.
“Okay, according to Howie, AJ called for a stripper, but Howie cancelled the stripper because we are going to be the entertainment, they are at Howie’s club and we are going to perform for them in our lingerie,” Amanda said.
“Guys, I don’t know,” Brizee said.
“We are going to sing Lady Marmalade from Moulin Rouge, I will sing Lil’ Kym’s part, Briz, you get Christina’s part, Kris, you get Mya’s part, while Leigh, you get Pink’s part, girls, we have seen the video and seen them perform it, we can do this,” Amanda said.
“I just don’t know about this, I don’t want to be in front of the guys in my lingerie,” Brizee said.
“Briz, you prance around them in a bikini, you can do this, think of later on, when Nick drags you to a private room and has his way with you, this is going to be a major turn on for him,” Amanda said.
“I just don’t know about this,” Brizee said.
“Briz, it’s perfect, we are going to do this,” Leighanne said.
“All right, fine,” Brizee said. They got dressed in their lingerie and put clothes on top and went to Tabu. Tommy was waiting for them. They heard music.
“Howie said it will be just them five,” Amanda said quietly. Brizee went up and peeked out and saw the guys sitting around talking and drinking beer. She saw Nick drinking a bottle of water. She was glad he kept his promise not to drink during the bachelor party. She looked at the girls. Tommy got Howie and he came backstage.
“Are you girls ready for this,” Howie said.
“Yup,” Leighanne said. Howie went out and told the guys to face the stage. The curtains opened and they heard Amanda and soon saw the girls dressed in lingerie onstage singing Lady Marmalade. Brian, AJ, and Kevin looked at each other. Nick stared at Brizee and watched her. After they were done, Nick stood up and shook his head and walked out the door. Brizee ran backstage and got dressed and ran out just as Nick drove off. Leighanne, Kristin, and Amanda came out with Brian, Kevin, Howie, and AJ behind them.
“Briz,” Leighanne said.
“I told you I didn’t want to do it, this is all your fault, he hated it, I know he did, I wouldn’t be surprised if he called everything off,” Brizee said angrily.
“Briz, let him calm down and you two can talk about it,” Amanda said.
“He’ll end the relationship, I know he will, thanks to you, Amanda, this was all your idea, if he ends everything, it will be your fault!” Brizee said. She ran off and ran to the beach and collapsed in the sand and sat there thinking about everything. She went home and went to her room and saw Nick packing.
“Nick,” Brizee said.
“It’s a good thing I kept my house, if this were to happen,” Nick said.
“Nick, it wasn’t my idea to do that, it was Amanda’s, they talked me into it, I didn’t want to do it,” Brizee said.
“But you did it, you know what it did to me to see you dancing around onstage in your lingerie, in front of the guys, it killed me, because they were seeing you the way I see you every night!” Nick said as he continued packing.
“They have seen me in a bikini, Nick, I didn’t know seeing me in lingerie would make a difference,” Brizee said.
“But they did!” Nick said angrily.
“Is it over?” Brizee asked.
“I want my ring back,” Nick said grabbing her hand and taking it off. He got his stuff and walked out the door. Brizee sank to the floor crying. She heard footsteps.
“Briz,” Leighanne said.
“It’s over, everything is over,” Brizee said crying.
“Oh god, Briz, I’m sorry, we thought he would be happy,” Leighanne said. She looked up at her. She saw Amanda and Kristin behind her.
“Happy, watching his fiancée prancing around onstage in lingerie in front of his friends, and that would make him happy, no, it’s the opposite, he is mad, he broke off the engagement and left me, thanks a lot you guys, some friends you are, get out, leave me alone!” Brizee said. Amanda, Leighanne, and Kristin left. Brizee laid on the bed and cried.
