THE RACETRACK

Jungkook was a very famous race car driver, well known in the whole circuit, very focused on his career, his team is one of the most recognized and praised, him and his team were the talk of Nascar, whom took too much pride in his car performance, anything that has to do with it, the best parts distributors also top quality parts.

He was going to lose one of his team members because he had to move out of the country, his mother was very I'll so he was going back home to take care of her, but he promised to come back.

Namjoon was the leader of the team, Jungkook had given him his complete trust when it came to do the hiring, so he didn't have nothing to worry about.

Namjoon's best friend believe it or not, was one of the best mechanics in the town she lived at, she decided to move back to South Korea after being in London for many years, working at a the race car circuit in London.

Namjoon got in touch with his friend, offering the spot that the other guy had vacated.

His friend accepted. since she was moving back to South Korea therefore needed a job, she was kind of bored, so she accepted Namjoon's offer.

She made it to South Korea having no place to stay, her parents lived in Daegu which was far away from the job so I was hard to commute back and forth everyday, so Namjoon offered his place for her to stay at his place meanwhile she found one of her own.

He had a huge apartment where he lived alone with his dog Moni.

She thought about it carefully, accepting the offer for the time being, since she had been knowing Namjoon for so many years.

She got settled at his place, before she knew it, her first day at her new job was upon her.

She got introduced to the teammates...

Seokjin, Yoongi, Hoseok, Jimin, Taehyung, they only she hadn't met was the big boss Jeon Jungkook.

She had seen pictures of him, has read articles, watch a lot of the reports about him on the news, even rumors that were circulating around about him.

What she didn't know it was that Namjoon didn't talk Jungkook about hiring her, since he never did talk about the people he hired before, so he didn't think any of it.

Y/n made it to her first day of work.

Namjoon saw her it made him really excited, she was like a sister to him, they have been knowing each other for so many years.

- Joonie.

She called shyly as she got closer and closer to him whom was talking with the the others.

He was very focused talking as usual but heard her voice still, his buff body turned immediately stopping dry his conversation with the others. his eyes found her.

- y/n, you are here!

He was super excited. walked to her giving her a small hug.

- we leave together Joonie for goodness sake's, why are you getting so excited?

She mumbled between giggles.

He got a little shy but was used to her picking on him like that.

- sorry is the habit.

He grinned ruffling her hair.

- well boys, the last piece of our team is here, we are just missing Jungkook as usual whom he is late.

- when is he not?

Jimin huffed.

- well, let's make sure all the tools are in good shape, all the parts are in perfect condition, we all know how Jungkook likes it.

- yes boss, who is going to be in charge of receiving and inspecting the new parts that came in, which was Daehyun's job.

- I'm going to teach y/n how to do that, if that's ok with you, so she can get familiarized with all the parts that we use.

- that's fine with me, there is nothing better than a beautiful girl that can inspect all my parts to make sure that they are all in perfect condition.

Taehyung said with a smirk.

- yah Tae Tae chill, would you?, she just got here, please don't scare her away already.

Hoseok hissed at him.

- is ok Hobi I'm used to, I know how to handle guys like him, he is nothing but a cute baby, so if he would like to know, he doesn't have a chance with me.

She rebounded with a smart remark.

- ouch, you got burn in the first lap boy.

Yoongi said laughing his life away.

They all went to their areas then Namjoon took y/n to the area were the parts were received and inspected.

- so y/n, this is the new shipment that came in this morning, here is the invoice, first make sure that all the parts are here, then me and you can inspect them.

- ok Joonie.

- this one will be your computer, this screen is the one we use to log in every part we receive, this invoice number here you type this number in, it would take you to the screen where all the parts are listed, you just type this other number here right in this line and press enter which is the part number.

Then we inspect them, if they all pass the inspection you come to this screen, put an A from accepted by each one of them, then press F10, then the computer it will print you a paper where it lists the areas where each one of them are going to be located but, that's Taehyung's job after we log them in their area he takes them to storage them in the back, so you don't have to worry about that, we have a dry very top quality storage room, we don't want anything to happen to the parts, no water damage or they will get rusty and stuff like that.

- cool, well I'll get to it.

- cool, I'll be back I'm going to delegate the tasks for the day, we have a very important race next week, is a qualifying race, Jungkook has to win to get to 500 Indiana.

- doesn't he always wins Joonie?

- yes but we have to make sure that he wins.

He said with a wink.

- go lanky let me get to work, I don't want to get fired on my first day.

He said scratching the back of his head.

She said pushing him away.

After a while she was deep into her job, so she really wasn't paying attention to whatever happened around her.
