INTRO

It was around the year AD 920, when foreign forces from unknown lands tried to exterminate the entire region of Northern Europe. The Scandinavian nations decided to put aside their harshness and join forces to stop the invader. This war was known as the First Great Nordic War. When the conflict was over, the kings of the countries of Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Iceland decided to unify their kingdoms under one high ruler. Each king would rule over the Great Scandinavia for a period of four years. They cast their lot and the first chosen great king was Ulfus I of Norway. Some years passed and each nation managed to build its own castle:Iceland: The Wolves’ GatesFinland: The White Bear Fortress.Norway: The Land of the Golden Lion.Sweden: The Elk Rock.Denmark: The Castle of the White Swan. and thus, the era of Great Scandinavia began ...In the year of 945, a magician named Brynhald arrived of his trip from Egypt, bringing a strange magic that in his native land no one had ever seen. He appeared before the sovereign of Iceland, Magnus Olafyr, and before him, just as it was a magic trick, he threw mustard seeds to the ground and almost inmediately, they transformed into small fly larvae that crawled, leaving a viscous liquid on the floor .“A plague? Why do I want this?” Magnus replied with a slight grimace of disgust.“The extermination of a plague and not only that, but perhaps, of many diseases,” Brynhald chanted a mantra and the larvae turned into little pebbles and then evaporated. The king welcomed him and gave him a space inside his court as one of his royal advisers.

Cold, dark clouds hung over the skies of Iceland and Scandinavia. The croaking of the white raven would be heard in every corner of the Nordic lands.
