PROLOUGE
Kaira's POV
I ran out of the office still not able to analyze the scene I just saw, I quickly drove my way back home. Reaching home, I rushed to the washroom started the shower, and sat under it, soon all the pain started to come out in form of tears, I felt so vulnerable as if all my happiness was sucked away, the flashbacks of the happy time I spent with him came across my mind. Why the hell was I so stupid was the only question that was revolving around my mind
I closed the shower, changed, and having no power left I lie on the bed feeling helpless, just cursing myself for my foolishness. Abruptly my phone rang 'Aveer' displayed on the screen.
"Kai I can explain everything to you," was the first sentence he spoke.
"There is nothing left for explanation Aveer"
"Kai just listen to me you are mistaken," he pleaded.
"No Aveer I am not mistaken now, I was mistaken when I trusted you when I thought we can have a future together and you know what my biggest mistake was that, I fell so hard for you, I regret loving a cheater like you."
By saying this my heart broke into zillion pieces, I completely shattered, the voice of the person that used to comfort me is piercing my heart today. I ended the call and switched off my phone.
"Why, why did you do this to me, why was I such an idiot that I didn't understand that a billionaire like you will never marry a middle-class girl like me."
All my dreams lay shattered, I lost my power, my confidence, I lost everything today, by weeping in my pillow I don't know when I fell asleep.
