Kayla set the sandwich down on the wooden kitchen table. Her little sister Hayley was staring at the TV, not the food in front of her. Kayla walked over to the remote and pressed the power button. "Noooooo." Cried Hayley. "You need to eat,last night you got to watch while you eat,but today you don't." Kayla said to her sister. Hayley looked at her food sadly and then asked "Is this the ham mommy got yesterday?". "Of course it is, I wouldn't feed you something rotten." Kayla groaned. She still had to fix her own self a sandwich.Maybe instead she would just eat some chips. Kayla picked the empty plate from in front of Hayley and went to the dishwasher. Meanwhile,Hayley was staring at the pile of bills stacked on the table. Hayley asked every month if her mother was going to pay any of the bills,but Kaylas answer was always no. That's were all the problems had started,at the stack of bills laying on the old wooden table that Kayla had always sat at with her whole family when it was dinnertime,but that had changed.
