It's the way I gazed down

My mask misunderstood my smile

And thought a frown

That's what is,

and how I seemed flattered

At how you missed letters

Obvious marks, a song to a toddler

The way I thought your stupidity cute

Smiled again at your perfect suit

The childish innocence

Got the most decent of me

Peculiar is, how I forgot myself

The way I left to receive your self

Embrace you, although

I was broken to mirrors

Who mirrored my actions to one another

Peculiar, I went to catch

A vision of you, and failed to grasp

You were gone, missed my match
