"(REVIEWED AT CHAPTER TWELVE) To start, I'll say that this story is quite fun! :D It has that young adult-type vibe to it where nothing is /too/ bad... but things still get dark. The plot is entertaining, although there are parts that are confusing me a bit. The author can be too vague with their descriptions, and some scenes are skipped over so quickly that it's hard to tell what's happening. However, there is a solid plot going on with plenty of questions that a reader will want to know the answers to! The author's writing style and grammar are passable. The story is easy to read, but there are grammatical errors scattered throughout that still catch my eye. That said, there's a charm to the simplistic style used, and with more practice, I think that the author will improve greatly— perhaps even as this story goes along. Overall, it was worth the read. ^~^"
