Chapter 1

Every day is a new beginning and every light is a next chance.

The mountains blocks the view of bright sun without reaching her eyes,

This year the summer seems more flaming than usual, atleast the big oak tree saves her from boiling.

The Sun is about to set, she promised her mother that she will return before the sunset. She relieve a sigh at that thought, Its not that she doesn't like being at home, its just that she loved it here, she liked the serenity these mountains, waterfall and her oak tree allow her to consume.

She forced herself to walk back home, there is kind of pack gathering today, she promised her friends that she will be there, she hear her father the pack's beta shares his concern relating some rogue attacks to her mother. She really hopes everything will be good, She don't like the sound of them stressing over something.

Her mother was already left before her arrival, and her older brother must be helping her father in pack matters, Its about time he take over the beta position.

The shadow crack pack contain about 1500 members, having the eastern border ending with mountain arenas, they never cross that border, she remembers her grandmother telling her stories about the witches, fairies and wizards living on the other side of the mountains, It was really fascinating, May be one day she will!

She never been anywhere other than her pack, well her brother Tyler been into the human world and tell her the stories about them..she love to hear stories..she loves unsolving the mysteries that are blinded. She forever wished to visit the human town but Tyler never takes her, uh! always the protective older brother.

Everyone loves her in the pack they says that her aura made them relax, whatever that means! her Mother never let them finish though and even restrict everyone from spelling that to her. She always wonder whether her family is hiding something from her or not, since they always kept her sheltered and Be there for her each and every needs.

She is kind of an average girl neither gets into trouble nor been the perfect one, she was always in between, with avarage scores and two besfriends naming Amanda and Margaret, well Amanda is the perfect one and Margaret is the wild one, its only fair that she was in between.

She loves to read but never been a bookworm, loves to hunt but never catch anything, loves to sing but never sing before anyone, loves to talk but never been a social fly, loves to join pack warriors but never tells openly.. there will always be something that pulls her back..

She doesn't even have any plans for future, Its like she is waiting for something or someone?

Even If its hurts to admit she never shifts like other wolves when she reach eighteen, and its been almost three years since then and she never shifted, she heared stories about other packs which insults and ban the unshifted wolves but nobody ever made a bad comment about her in this pack, everybody was so supportive and she will be forever grateful for that.

She knew she looks different from everyone even from her parents with piercing dark violet eyes, her dark black hair and pale skin, well her mother confirms that she was pale at her age and her father tells her that his grandmother had black hair so she got that or something since mother have blond and he have brown she always have doubted about her own.

And according to Tyler it is something about her genetic disorder and some kind of pigmentation that make her eyes violet! and he also think its so cool!

And here she is with the fragrance of lavender and sparkling violet eyes...

Lavender.!

PARIS IN THE DARK

Hester: Very good, was short too the point , not lingering on the abuse, pity you didn’t let him step in earlier knowing the abuse was happening, but this is almost real for some women who have gone through it, just wish they could all have a princess at te end of thete tunnel

Ashley: I enjoyed the story. It was a short one so the fast pace fit. I think something should be put in to show a time jump between paragraphs like a "****" just to make it easier to follow when we skip to the next day week or month. Over all a good read.
