Narvia

My chest was speeding fast. I had no heart. How could I if I had no pulse. I was dead inside. Nothing pulsing nothing moving only the desire to eat. Blood, I needed blood, The sound of just the word made me go crazy. I could smell it I could feel it. I needed it. I needed the blood slipping down my lips. The creamy red plasma feeling in my tongue. I wanted it. I wanted to suck on the blood of a human, I wanted to dry them out and leave them with no blood in their body. God how much I wanted a human right now to feed off. I stared at the window inches away from me as I played with a pen in my fingers. The sun that was coming into my room was odious I hated the shine and the way it burned my skin it was just ridicules. They have taught us to stay away from the light as much as possible since we would burn and die from it. At first I thought it was a joke but I learned that it wasn't it was a matter of life and dead and that honestly made me hate humans even more. I could say I was jealous of them having a beat for a heart and a way of them being able to walk freely in the day. Not that I cared much since humans where noisy, you could hear them all the way from the jungle to their town it was idiotic how loud this people where. The only good thing this humans where good for was blood.

I stare at the window with hate again as my sharp teeth slowly started to come out, I was angry and felt repulsed by the shine of it. But as my red eyes slowly looked at the sun light I heard her voice. Yes the human playing outside in the garden. The forbidden one. The daughter of the king. I slowly stood up and walked around the sun as I got to the wall. I kept my body close to the shadow of the wall to not burn my self. I herd laughter, poor innocent girl. I thought as I took a peek of her in the garden.

She was running around in a sun dress. Her skin was exposed to the sun as she danced and hurled to the ground. She was happy. You could see it in her smile. I didn't care much since all I could care about was the sweet innocent smell that her virgin blood gave. I could smell it from here and I could bet that other fellow friends could smell it too. But she was forbidden. Like a forbidden fruit.

I growled as I glanced at her as she was in the grass singing and reading a book. There is nothing more that I wanted then to drink her blood. I smiled at myself to the thought of it. Poor girl. So innocent but so delicious I thought as I licked my lips gently. I could feel my body getting hungry for blood. Mostly her blood. I wanted to taste the virgin blood that was rushing through her body. I wanted to make her suffer like the rest of us. But of course I wanted her all for myself and not leave a single drop of blood on her body. Even thought I knew that was never going to happen I smirked to myself.

" Isn't she exquisite." A voice from a cross the room said. I knew who it was so I slowly looked at him. I wasn't going to pretend I wasn't looking at his daughter what was going to be the point on that.

"Sir augustus." I said as I gently walked around the sun to meet with him. He raised his hand to me so I could kiss his blood diamond ring. His dark eyes didn't have any expression but his sharp teeth said it all. He would kill anybody who had any thoughts of murdering his human daughter, I kissed the ring gently as I bended down to my knees.

"Please raise Zadicus. You're a loyal servant to me no need to feel frighten of small conversations."

"I wasn't frighten, there is nothing to hide." I said as I watched him carefully walk around the sun to get to the window.

"Frighten are the ones who say they fear nothing." He dismissed me as he smiled gently. " She is beauty like her mother Zadicus." He said as he studied his daughter. I was still on my knees with my head down. Even if he gave order to raise many had die like this for having thought of his daughter.

"I guess so." I said softly. I hated humans and didn't care for them but he did.

" Why where you watching my daughter Zadicus?." He said gently as his dark eyes wonder to me.

" I was desiring her blood, I know she is forbidden but I also know many of our kind-"

"Our kind are pests." He added as he didn't let me finish.

"As I was saying, many of our kind desire your daughters virgin blood and only one can dream of drinking virgin blood sir." I said with no fear in my voice he of course went silence but then walked to me.

"Ungrateful thought of my daughter. If you weren't loyal at all you wouldn't be alive right now but, your father has work for me for years and I will seek your forgiveness as a way of helping me."

"What do you mean?."

"You will be my daughter's guard. You will protect her from all this malicious beasts in our home, you have no other way of repaying me for your horrible thought then doing some labor your self."

"I don't understand." I said carefully as he finally stood in front of me. His sharp teeths looked at me like an intruder. He was ready to strike me with his sharp teeths.

"We will be heading back to Catlovia tonight for the feast and stay for the remaining of our life and she will come with. so she needs a guardian." He said. As he said that my mind started to raise even thought I didn't felt my chest moving or breathing heavily I knew it was not a good idea.

"Sir I don't think is a good idea to bring a human to a town of merely vampires they could kill her." I said as I stood up without thinking. He looked at me with a smile.

"That is why it will be your job to protect her." He said clearly and loud. I didn't know what else to say since I couldn't go against his wishes but I nodded my head to him as I cleared my throat.

"Yes sir."

"Good that we can understand each other, you will be coming with her by ground as she is only human she can't flight so she will be needing protection and resources. Also don't worry you will not be alone you will have Orien coming with, because is best to have two good body guards." He said as he smiled at me.

I didn't find nothing funny at so looked at him and shake my head as an agreement.

"I know you both will be good friends from tomorrow and on Zadicus, I trust in you both to keep her safe." He said as he finally walked to the door. Before he could even close the door he looked at me again and smirked. "I trust on you." He said again as he finally closes the door.

Once he left I felt so angry with myself. I wasn't one to betray my own blood to protect a human. Why did it had to be me? This was nothing of the normal and why did he even wanted to bring a human to a town full of vampires? That was the worst thing he could have down at all. While in anger I walked back to the window hissing and cursing at myself as I try to peak again at the merely human girl. She was still there smiling and enjoying her life. It disgusted .me the thought that I had to pretend to be friends with my food. This was not what I wanted at all.

I went to my bed and lay down thinking about tonight, thinking about what the hell I was going to do now that I had to protect a human from all the vampires that where wanting to eat her blood?. Maybe I should be the one converting her into a vampire ? Fuck the thought of it was just making me sick to my stomach. All I wanted was her blood and that was it. So I finally closed my eyes and went to bed. All I kept thinking about during that morning of sleep was her. I would have to protect her. I would have to resist in not drinking her delicious blood.

It was finally night and I was already outside next to the car waiting for Orien and the girl. If I was correct the father already left after the sun came down so it was a matter of time before the girl would pull her self together to come down to go. Fuck this was actually stressing.

After a couple of hours they finally showed up. The old men came down with the human girl of course she was covered up since it was a matter of life and death for her.

"Alrighty alrighty missy this is Zadicus he will be our... What is it called?." Orien said while looking at me.

"Bodey guard?." I said weirdly with an assent. Of course the girl looked at me shocked.

"Oh yes yes that body guy, guard idk milady." He said as he smiled to her she looked at him then back at me.

"Oh ok thanks Orien." She said as she awkwardly smiled then looked at me with her green eyes. "Will he be riding with me or walking outside?". She said and of course as she said that we both looked at Orien quickly. I got to say that once she quickly looked at him I could smell her veins from a distance.

"Oh well miss he has to, of course sit with you..." He said awkwardly. My face raised an eyebrow as I looked at him then once she looked at me I looked at her serious with no expression at all.

"Uhm on well let's go I guess." She said as she got inside the wagon

"I don't think this is a good idea." I whispered to Orien but he dismissed it and smiled.

"You will be fine if you touch her just know our king gave me permission to kill you In sight." He joked but I felt like it was not a joke at all. So I looked at him then quickly got in the wagon.

Once I was inside it was just me and her. God her smell was intoxicating and tempting. She was young too.

" Is the vampire world dangerous?." She said as soon as the wagon started to move. I wanted to ignore her but I couldn't simply be rude.

"Yes."

"Serious?."

"You're stupid wanting to come with your father to a vampire world. Only dumb humans like you think you can survive there." I said abruptly she of course looked at me in shocked.

"Did you call me stupid?."

"Yes."

"You're so fucking rude might as well keep mum yourself." She said in witch I did t understand why she was agitated . I could see her veins raising from her neck. They looked so delicious beating faster.

"You seem unhappy." I said as I looked at her. She crossed her arms and looked to the side as to try and look for a sentence.

"I... I didn't come here to be called dumb by a merely random body guard, so might as well keep your own words to your self." She said as she made a shmp sound. She was angry and I really didn't care. But her smell was driving me crazy.

" You shouldn't have come at all."

"Shut up, I didn't want to come but my father made me ok?."

"It makes no sense." I said looking at her with my red eyes. She of course looked uncomfortable as I was staring at her.

"... Well my father wants me to see where my home is so he wanted me to come along, that don't make me dumb now huh ?."

"It makes you stupid." I said as I without thinking proceeded to stand up in the wagon and locked her between my two arms for her not to escape. I was drugged with her smell. Her smell was driving me insane. Of course she was in shock.

"W... W... What ... What are you doing !." She said as she exposed her neck by looking to the side in horror. I couldn't stop myself my sharp nails made holes on the chair whole my sharp teeth where getting. I felt the pleasure running down my skin. I wanted to taste that blood. I wanted it now. All my thoughts where just saying take it take it.

"Stop!." She said as she put a hand in my chest. Something in me felt electricity and made me feel like my heart move to , of course I falled back to my chair as well as I looked at her with my blood red eyes. She was scared. Not scared she was frightened. So I smirked as I licked my lips.

"You're a stupid girl wanting to put your self In a dangerous situation and your father not thinking twice of his actions." I said as a growl from in side of me sounded. I was already drunk with the smell and I knew I wouldn't be able to stop myself unless I would get out of here.

"Like I said it was not me... My-"

"Is to late for that. Your father thought he could trust another vampire near his daughter is just pathetic of how weak he is." I said as I quickly grabbed her neck while sitting down. I pushed her to me as I smelled her neck. She was frightened. She was shivering.

"Let... Let me go..." She said with little to no breath. My hands where to tight on her neck sense I was smelling her veins and her delicious blood. I just wanted a bite. I just wanted a little blood. I grabbed her hair and tilted her neck to see her neck more visible. I could see the veins glowing and calling my name, I smelled those delicious veins making me lick her neck a bit. She shivered as she was trying to take a breather. Mg sharp teeth grew bigger as I stopped licking her neck but before I could even proceed to penetrate her neck she kicked my feets making me hiss and letting her go of course that as soon as I let her go she dare to open the door of the moving wagon and falled down as she proceeded to run in the woods.

"Hey what's going on !! Miss is dangerous to go in the woods !!!." Orien shouted as I quickly got out of the wagon too and rushed to the woods. You could hear Orien shouting at me too but I didn't care. I was hunting my prey. And I wasn't going to stop till I got her blood. So rushed to the woods and run faster. But believable it or not I couldn't see her so I stopped and smirked.

"Miss is really dangerous in the woods might as well come back with us again or somebody else could. Kill you." I said in a vicious way . I wasn't acting myself but the truth was that I haven't had any blood for the past month so it was driving me insane. Even thought I couldn't see her I could smell her and I knew she was close to me infact I knew she was hiding in one of this trees. So I tried to be as quite as I could be as my red eyes searched for her and that is when I found her behind a tree so I smiled at my self and quickly rushed to her as I grabbed her neck again. My body was pushed against her body so she couldn't escape from me.

"AHHH LET ME GO !!!" she screamed but I put my other hand in her mouth.

"Shh shh shh, Narvia . Shh shh shh. I will not harm you. Infact I will just help you become one of us." I said but of course she was in tears. I don't know why as I was looking at her green eyes I was feel things. I was feeling guilty. I started remembering what her father said making me hiss at the thought and letting her go as I sat down on the floor. I don't know why but as I was sitting in the floor I started feeling a burning sensation in my chest. "Argh!!! " I screamed as I lowered myself down to the grown.

Narvia looked at me scared. She didn't know if to run or if to help me.

"... Are you ok?..." She asked as she saw me in agony in the floor.

"Go away... " I said as blood dripped down my mouth. I started breathing heavily and feeling that burning sensation. I knew something was not right since I never felt this before.

"Let me help you, you're clearly not ok." She said as she bended down and touched my back but as she did that I felt my veins popping out of my skin making me scream in agony again.

"AHHHH ARGHHH." I screamed as loud as I could making me stand up with force and pushing her to the tree behind us. I then proceeded to move her hair away from her neck, of course she was in shock as I gently grabbed her neck. I could feel my veins popping, I felt a rush in my skin that I have never felt before. My eyes as red as they where you could tell she could also see the veins in my eyes. The pulsing of my hands it felt different. I got my fangs out as I growled to her. She tried to stop me as she put her hand between us. But that didn't stop my body from pushing to hers the closer I got the anxious she got and looked away. All I could think about was blood. I wanted her blood. I started to smell her neck as she stopped resisting so I looked at her green eyes then at her lips, I made sure that she looked at my red eyes by holding her face. I don't know why but my lips where close to hers. I wanted to rip the skin out of her lip and let blood hit mines. I closed my eyes as I started panthing faster as I got closer to her lips but of course I didn't get close enough as I felt somebody close. So I quickly got away from her and hissed at the empty forest in front of me. My eyes where vicious with hate and hunger.

"Get away from the girl Zadicus , your not thinking straight." The old man said as he pointed a gun at me. And he was right I wasn't feeling myself as I could feel my neck cracking and my sharp nails moving awkwardly, my eyes where shivering looking everywhere in all the directions.

"This... This was... A bad ... Bad ... Idea. Grrr." I said as I chuckle but of course Orien didn't flinch as he smiled too.

"Boy, you might as well step away, I have some blood you could drink." He said as he proceeded to take out a knife and cut his wrist. I looked at him confuse but my body didn't stop it self from smelling the blood so I rushed to it and grabbed his wrist as I looked at him.

"Drink boy." He said as he took his fangs out at me. I didn't waited a second and started to suck the blood out of his wrist. The blood of another vampire was not the same but it was not enought for a vampire hunger to feel at ease. Once I stopped feeding on him I stepped away. I felt like I could think clearly and the veins in my body reduced.

"I am sorry young girl, his also young in this whole vampire world." Orien said to her as he slowly walked to her but you could see that she was to scared of both of us.

"Don't get near me." She said and of course I thought it was annoying and she was over reacting. So I stood up and walked to her as Orien was standing right next to her.

With just one look you could see how scared she was but I wasn't going to lose more time to bring her to her dad .

"Tell him not to get near me!." She said to Orien as she tried to hide behind him. I rolled my eyes and dashed to her as I grabbed her hand.

"Let's go back to the wagon we don't have time for this."

"Put me down! Who do you think you're!?." She shouted as I put her around my shoulders. Orien backed away and smiled as he started to walk away. I got to say that as soon as we got to the wagon she wouldn't even talk to me at all and I knew she was probably mad at me or something.

"You're unhappy?." I asked her as we where inside of the wagon. She didn't reply but you could tell she rolled her eyes.

"You almost drink my blood or tried to kill me and then dare to say I am unhappy ? Are vampires that dumb?." She said angrily of course I took it as an offence.

"I didn't drink your blood."

"You almost did!" She said pointing a finger at me.

"Only idiotic people would think I would drink your blood." I said and as I said that you could tell she laughed sarcastically as she continued fume out of anger.

"How can you be so rude? You can't be serious ? You can't and are not fit to be my body guard at all."

"Well as sadden as it is I am and I will be for some time." I said looking at her confused.

"No I will tell my father other wise to chose somebody fit for the position."

"He will not listen to a cry women."

"Cry women ? Are you a child ?." She said as she looked at me angry. I didn't understand why she was so vibrant with words and wanting to continue to conversation if she was exhausted and angry.

"I am a men."

"Then act like one this is ridicules." She said as she quickly turned to face the other way. I didn't understand why she was so angry if she knew vampires would hunt her for her blood all the time.

"I'm sorry." I said slowly and softly of course that made her look at me and turn around.

"For what ?." She asked almost as demanding so I smirked.

"Trying to drink your blood?." I said she of course wasn't smiling but she tried to open her mouth so I grabbed her face and kissed her of course it shocked her but the smell of her blood was driving me insane and I wanted her to shut up so I could concentrate on something else. It was a quick kiss.

"Wh... Why..? " She said confused. I was confused to but not really every girl liked to be kissed by a vampire according to movie.

Before she could say more we both her Orien talking to somebody outside and of course before she could open her mouth again I put my hand in her mouth. "Shh." I said softly as I tried to hear who was outside.

"Hey Orien old pal. What are you doing here so early."

"Heyy Fex! I am just here delivering some cargo." Orien said as he tapped the wagon. I looked up where he tapped then looked at Narvia while making the shh sound.

"Oh good good can I see what you got there ?. Smells good." Vex said while getting closer.

"Oh no no please don't bother the kings daughter she might be sleeping."

"Oh the kings daughter you say ?. The human in Catlovia ? Bringing her by yourself ?." Vex said as he awkwardly laughed Orien fallowed the laugh.

" Yes yes you see we trust in our people to receive her with open arms."

" I... I don't think that is possible considering humans smells good, specially the virgin ones." Vel laughed. Orien didn't laugh but he snorted.

"I guess you will have to come down from there Orien. Me and my friends will take a look from here." Vel said with a smile on his face as more friends came out of the woods.

"Oh guys come on." Before Orien could say more the door open just for them to find me first.

"Uhm what is this ? This is no human girl ?." One of the guys said while I looked at him with hatred eyes.

"Sorry to disappoint but this cargo is very important to master." I said as I licked my teeth. The guy looked at Vel while he divided to move the guy out of the way.

"Where is the girl? You know we could find her very quick-." As he didn't finish his sentence he quickly looked behind me and saw that Narvia was sitting in the back. " Oh prescious. Poor girl." Vel said as you could see his fangs come out like knifes. I quickly hid her behind me again and lowered my self to vel eyes.

"You're not going to harm the cargo Vel , that would be very wrong." I said as I smirked. Vel in the other hand smiled and backed away a little as he snapped his finger. And as he did that his friends disappeared.

"I will not harm it I will let my buddy's harm it for me." He said smiling making me worried. So I look every where and grabbed her hand. She was scared but I knew this was not a good idea.

"Stay with me." I told her as I looked behind us at all the time and that is when I herd steps on the top of the wagon.

"Where is Orien?." She said but of course I wasn't worried about him so I closed the door as I looked at Vel smiling. Before I knew it one of vel guys broke the ciealing of the wagon trying to get to Narvia so of course she screamed but before they could grab her I hissed and grabbed their hand I got to say I grabbed it to hard to the point that I broke the guys hand off.

"AH MY GOD ZADICUS WATCH OUT AHHHH!!." she screamed as somebody opened the door and took me outside of the wagon.

As I was trying to get off from vel grip I watched how the guy that I ripped his arm took Narvia out of the car.

"NARVIA!!!" I screamed as I hissed and took my fangs out. I quickly punched vel in the face and rushed to narvias side as I pushed the other guy out of the way. I didn't think it twice before I grabbed her in my arms.

" Zadicus, Zadicus you really don't want to share her do you ? What happened with out communities code against humans?." Vel said as he crack his body back into position.

"The king told me to protect her."

"But can you protect her from your self?." He said and honestly I didn't care what he had to say. So I looked at her that she was around my arms as I was carrying her.

"I didn't came here to fight with you." I said as I quickly jumped out of the ground and flew away. I knew there would be a big chance of them following me but to my surprise they didn't. So once I dropped down inside of Catlovia I notice there was nobody on the streets so it made sense once I looked at the sun coming up.

"Are you ok?." I asked as she was still holding me right. Once she realize we where in the floor she let me go.

"Sorry I...-"

"You must continue by yourself from here on. The sun will be out soon and I won't make it to your father's castle, will you be able to find your way?."

"No wait your my body guard might as well find shelter for both of us, plus I am exhausted anyways." She said as she scratched her head. I looked at her then looked around. Without saying anything I grabbed her hand and pulled her to where there was a tunnel.

"Wait we are not going in there are we ?." She said as she let go of my hand.

"We must if you want me to continue with you." I said as I got inside. She looked scared but she knew she had no other choice so she came inside. It was empty and cold but you could see the sun rise up and I was trying my best to try and stay in the shade.

"Will you go to sleep now that Is day ?."

"Yes." I said even thought I wasn't tired at all.

"Very well. Would you mind if I sleep on your lap?." She said I of course looked at her. I didn't know if I should or not because what if all I wanted was to drink her blood.

"I don't think is a good idea."

"Why ?." She said confused.

"I could... I could drink your blood easily and is bad tentation to risk it."

"Oh... Alright then." She said as she tried to sit on the sun.

I looked at her glowing in the sun for a bit. I knew this was going to be the worst idea we had ever had but I also hoped that the king knew what he was doing. I stare at her sleeping for hours. What was so special about humans.
