The First Dream

Claire had just got home from school. She had a headache, and was exhausted, so she took an Advil and went upstairs to her room and laid down on her bed and it only took her a minute to fall asleep.

Claire had found herself in a large field that had many different colored flowers. She looked around and off in the distance she saw a small wooden house. She started walking to it, but walking turned into jogging and jogging turned into full-on running; when she had finally made it to the house, she looked around the outside of the house and then looked into one of the windows. Nobody was home, so, she walked up to the front door and knocked, and of course nobody answered because nobody was there, so, she tried opening the door, and much to her surprise the door was unlocked.

She walked inside and closed the door behind her. The first room she saw when she walked in was the living room; there was a long gray couch, 2 chairs, a table sitting in front of the couch, a fireplace, and on top of the fireplace was a TV which looked brand new. She then walked into the kitchen, which was fancy and looked like it cost over $500. She then went upstairs. There were 2 bedrooms and a bathroom.

She went to the first bedroom; it had a queen-size bed with light blue covers and pillowcases, a desk and a computer, a walk-in closet, a TV, 2 nightstands, a lamp, and it had a window. She looked out the window and saw a lake behind the house and a gazebo sitting right beside it. It was truly a spectacular view.

She then went to the second bedroom; it didn’t have as much in it as the first one, but it still looked nice. It had a queen-size bed with light pink covers and pillowcases, a dresser, a TV, a nightstand, and sitting on it was a lamp, and a desk in the corner of the room and a computer sitting on it.

Lastly, she went to the bathroom, which had a walk-in shower, a bathtub, and some other things that are usually in a bathroom. She went back downstairs and got her a soda out of the refrigerator and walked outside, around the house to the lake. She walked over to the gazebo and just sat there watching the lake.

Claire woke up and sat on her bed thinking about the dream she just had and wondered if she would ever go back to that small wooden house in her dreams ever again. She had truly fallen in love with that house in the small amount of time that she was there. She could only hope that she would see it again.
