Chapter 1

It was a late afternoon in Lunarzia. The sun had just barely started to set. I left my house. I was sick and tired of being cramped up there. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention. I live in a castle. It’s not anything special, just the lunar eclipse castle in the core of the moon. My name is Ira and I just happened to be the son of the king and queen of the moon making me a prince. As I went upstairs to my chambers. I was thinking of the day’s events.

“Ira we are going to Solaria you have one day to gather your things.” his mother said.

He had just arrived in the meeting room, where the royal family made all their plans.

“What! I’m going to Solaria. Why am I going there?!” he thought.

“You will be going there on the kingdom’s behalf. You will be occupied by me and your bodyguard.” his mother said sternly, Ira nodded

“But what am I going there for mother?” he asked.

“Ah yes I almost forgot to mention that we are going there for the princess!” his mother said in forgetfulness.

“What princess?” Ira asked in disbelief.

“Princess something the direct descendant of the sun goddess.” his mother said as if trying to remember something.

“Huh, I never knew there was a princess in Solaria,” Ira said. And then it clicked his mother was setting him up!!! He had been for the past 6 months!

“Wait this isn’t another one of your schemes to find a daughter in law is it,” he complained.

“Not this time dear, This time it’s a real peace meeting between the two kingdoms,” she said, offended that her son viewed her that way.

“Okay, I think this council meeting has gone on long enough,” The queen said, dismissing everyone at the table. Ira sighed he had to go to the sun kingdom. He lived on the moon for god’s sake!!!

Ira lay awake in his bed; he couldn’t sleep, his mind was too busy racing with questions. What will she look like, pretty ugly? Will she hate me like, love me? Nah that was dumb she probably will be another crazy fan or someone who wanted nothing to do with him. Ugh, he hated prissy princesses. He got out of bed and looked out his breathtaking view of the kingdom and his gaze finally landed on the moon.

“Solaria huh,” he thought to himself. This was going to be an interesting week.
