Chapter 1 : Patience is Key to all Success

Tristan POV:
Worry. That’s what I felt. At first, I was angry with her for leaving me without a single word except for some shitty letter. But now, I was scared out of my wits for her.
I had many enemies, which made every second of her life, risky. I had no clue who had her, or how to get her back.
I felt hopeless as time passed by. It had already been an entire week without a single word. Without a single hint of where she might be. I didn’t even know her health at the moment, or if she was safe.
According to the letter left at her home, I had the feeling that she wasn’t, though. Someone had took her, whether it was willingly or unwillingly. She was with someone who didn’t have the best intentions for her. She was in danger, and I couldn’t help her no matter how much effort I put into it.
The letter. It didn’t help either. It only made me more terrored. She left me, but she said it was for good reason. But how could it be for good reason.
Then the note that was left. I couldn’t understand anything anymore to help the both of us, and I hated that.
If I could take back all the times I hurt her, if I could take back not going to work that day, then just maybe she wouldn’t have left.
We were just getting started into this happy life and this happened. I confessed my feelings, but I hadn’t cleared anything up with her. She was still oblivious to the truth.
It wasn’t easy to spend an entire weak in absolute agony, worrying about what could be happening to her at that very moment, but I prayed for the best.
Every single day, I felt even more hopeless, but I didn’t give up. How could I when I knew there was a chance, despite not seeing it yet.
There was one, there had to be one. All I needed to do is maintain balance between my emotions and control myself, holding onto the last shreds of patience I had in my being.
Each and every part of me, yearned for her deeply and she was all I could think about. I didn’t give up on finding her and would not as long as she was in danger.
Someone had once said that Patience is the key to all success. I just hoped that it was true, because all I wanted was her safety and return successful.
So I held on to the little confidence I had in finding her as I held a meeting with all my men regarding anything that’ll help get her back to me.
I would find a way, through hook or crook. All I needed to do was be patient and wait for that moment when the next clue is revealed.
Sooner or later, I would find something that’ll help me find Alina. I didn’t know when or how, all I knew was that I’d do anything for her. Even if it meant waiting patiently.
I’d do it just for her……
