Summary

The leaves were crisp. My arm and jaw hurt, yet arrested I was to tell a story. By God I was going to give them one, even if it took forever or if yet another body part fell off me. “Oh, okay. So she punched me. Nice. Just what I needed, ya know? Swift hit, nice going me. Punched by a smooth sweetheart. Okay, I deserved that…I’m sorry…blindsighted. Horribly…please, forgive me? I didn’t mean it…really, I didn’t. Caught up in the moment, is all…I’d been a bad girl, then. How can I make it up to you, Mary? I’ll do anything to quell the incessant burning…please…I’ll tell you a tale, if you like. One of whimsy and thrill…of royalty and– and peasantry. And…and…and…chocolate and wine!” That story, dearest readers, is for another time and place. And this is that story, in all its painful glory.

Knox Hollow: Little Bunny

Neenee73: The author managed to weave instant tension and mystery from the get go. It was a balancing act that kept me guessing and made everyone look like they could be a villain which is on par with the great writers of mystery like Agatha and Doyle. I was jumping at every creak. If you like tension in ever...
