chapter one - and it was desolate

love was there for her, always.

it pounded through her body, never resting, telling her where to go and what to do.

there was love on that day.

i am just a person.

i am just a person in love.

the oceans pooled together into one, and the colors shifted, and one plus one didn't equal two.

there was always change, shifting, quivering, loving, living.

it was alive.

until it wasn't.

there was a soft crunch as the 'girl's' sandals landed gently on a dying, crimson leaf, all shrivelled and lifeless as it lost the only support it had had, discarded for a replacement long to come.

the 'girl' smiled despite the horrors. after all, all she had to do was say yes and everything would be gone.

and she whispered it silently and the world came to an end.

ends and means tied up, justified, thrown away as god sculpted a new world.

a world with only one.
